Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

The 3/1 NRNB is probably about what his price will be if he wins the Scilly Isles?
If he didn't win that he probably wouldn't run, do you cam see why they're shortest and that price.
They're generally worst price before NRNB though I find.

I think taking him to Sandown is a good idea trends or no trends.
Learnt a lot from the interviews with GM about some of the differences and one of them was in regards to the colours of the boxes etc. At fences being different colours which I imagine takes quite some getting used to for an import. And also with the fences being taller than in France even with plenty of schooling it will be good for the horse to get (probably) the stiffest test of his jumping at Sandown, think it will set him up nicely

Big stat to break if he wins the Scilly Isles in the JLT.
Just that one better horse happened to take him on that day.

You know I don't like those trends very much, and we've had the debate before but can I at least get you to acknowledge that:
It is NOT a strong trend to say the horse cannot perform well in the JLT, as they clearly can.

After an enjoyable Christmas period of racing, I now come out the other side and am pinning my festival nap to Master Dino. I know I'm a sheep jumping on the hype train but I do firmly believe this horse will go to the very top.
Even though I am on at 16s (thanks to this lovely forum) I still think 9/2 is big.
What price does he go to after he romps in the Scilly Isles Chase? 2/1? a dominant bridal display could even push him in to 6/4.
Another factor is Guillaume Macaire coming over to the UK with him, this is a trainer that SOLD horses like Vautour, Laurina, Master Minded etc. He may have misjudged how good they were when selling them so young but surely it says something for him to keep Master Dino and come to try conquer Cheltenham himself?
Am I absolutely crazy to say we could be looking at a special horse?

????????????? but Terefort DIDNT win the JLT. Thats the whole point of a stat.

I think what you say is important as you can almost sense he was so encouraged how well Terrefort did that he's prepared to send Master Dino along the same route. He must be confident as he's experienced enough not to be messing about.

He said something like they are worlds apart in terms of ability. He thinks if Terrefort can go close this horse can win well especially in a what could be a weak renewal. You'd have to trust his judgement of a horse he knows more than all of us put together.
