Every result pleases someone. Nothing to do with whether the horse was brought down. You run that risk when you sit out the back. Im sure the posts would have been flying had WP won......

I think I’m the only one (if not one of the few) who has held out some hope on Lostintranslation for this race. After the performance of La Bague Au Roi today, his debut defeat to her is not bad at all and he was in the mix against her before falling in their second meeting. It was mooted that Lostintranslation was heading towards The Dipper so Tizzard is still keeping the faith and aiming high with him. I still think he’ll improve throughout the season like last year as well, given his inexperience.

Is it horses like La Bague Au Roi that cause him to make those jumping errors?
He can probably pop around nicely when schooling, but jumping at pace is often the key factor in novice chases.... that'd be my worry with him. I wouldn't take for granted he'll improve the jumping when he's next tested.

I keep circling back on the JLT as I think it's full of great value somewhere but just can't seem to bloody find it, half the market won't go here and the other half I just can't seem to get behind

He seemed to grow as last year went on over hurdles so just hoping he's one of those who suddenly turns a corner, happy to be on any race @ 22s but can't say I would be expecting a win in this from him.
