Just caught up with this weeks episode, and got to remark on how much Gavin Lynch has come on in front of the camera compared to the early seasons.

Seems really confident now & really articulates himself well, whereas years ago he seemed to answer DJ’s questions as quickly as he could & pass the buck back to DJ.

Agree though about his selections so far this year, yet to cover himself in glory. Plenty of time for that though!

On her line though Buzz she'd finish ahead of him in the Stayers getting her allowance. It's probably too literal a line, particularly with her jumping, but she went on 'Stayers Watch' with me as soon as the pair of them finished first and second in the Ces.

She went on my stayers list too. That said like everyone I have Buzz many lengths ahead on the jumping front but perhaps as equally important Buzz was going away again at the line and whilst I would need to watch the ces again my initial feeling at the time was that the gap would have grown and grown the further they went. Put it another way if the ces had been over 3 miles I think the winning margin would have been greater and Buzz jumps better too. I don’t think he out speeded BV I think he outstayed her.

BV won’t go anywhere near the Stayers, IMHO.

A step up to 2M4F for the Mares Hurdle maybe, but to be frank the less hurdles she has to jump the better.

Her best RPR is only 142, so she has some catching up to do quickly over Hurdles

Given the Stayers is on the new course, which she has already won on (albeit fortunately)
And importantly would be a much more favourable finish for a horse who has jumping issues.

I think they be sticking to Mares races with her
But I could see why they may be tempted that way depending on how her first couple of hurdle runs go this season.
In all likelihood her jumping would end up costing her less in the Stayers than it would in the Mares hurdle.
