It's a pointless exercise isn't it, their mythical points, no pressure to actually make any money - just throwing up tips they must know aren't the best value, yet the prices get cut.
It's backwards.
I am absolutely staggered at the gushing (and it is gushing) about the show, and Gavin Lynch has tipped in November, a 12.5/1 double, Honeysuckle and Envoi Allen?
Is that really what people are tuning in for? Wow, just absolutely stunned by that.
Honestly, that's fucking awful isn't it?
David Lynch absolutely saving the day with his picks, they're alright.
Tower Bridge as well, I mean come on... is that the best he can do? The 14/1 ante post favourite? In November? Amazing. Ammmmaaaaaaaaaaazing.
Era in reality who cares though ; people watch it because they enjoy the show. No one has a gun to your head to back what they put up, you watch it and make your own decisions on your punting.
I don't think people are necessarily tuning in for 2/4 Cheltenham picks, I'm not anyway. I don't think I ever really punt what they put up to be honest but I still enjoy listening to the show whether it be the 'week that was' or the 'week ahead'. There is plenty of content there outside of 2 or so picks at the end of the show and Cheltenham focused.
What I did notice though...you are waiting to see their selections before putting up yours each week I joke!

In the meantime, in the Pertemps I'll have Column Of Fire at 25/1
I also will have Mystery Horse for the Supreme at 33/1 - You'll have to take my word on the price, but 50's are available elsewhere still I think
Been having my tea.

They literally get paid to do this as a job as well, literally paid for it.
Gavin Lynch, is being paid, to put up those two tips today.
Let that sink in
I have no issue that its entertaining, I haven't ever knocked that, ever!
My issue was them cutting the prices, which has been addressed, so fair enough... no issue with that.
So no issue anymore, I just found todays tips a bit laughable? You must admit, from Gavin Lynch that is poor, and makes a bit of a mockery of it..... but again, if it's enjoyable, no problem.
I won't watch it tonight I'm updating my own diary - shame I don't get paid for it directly

From what I remember gavin is always fairly conservative early on
Putting up fairly short priced ones that have a high chance to still have live chances come march
Then moves into more interesting ones later on in the season
DJ is the opposite and puts up loads of big priced ones hoping one will stick but obviously a fair few will be useless come march
I actually chucked ?15 in free bets at trebles and an acca on shiskin, envoi, honeysuckle and easysland myself yesterday morning with 3 of them running this week and the prices likely to go
So I wont knock gavin for that double given they will likely be 6/4 and 9/4 this time next week barring a major surprise

Solid if not exciting choices (Professional like)
And factoring in the likely results next weekend makes the double not look as bad as first appeared.
Think he could have come up with something better than the pertemps choice though.
all those bets out there, and this would have been around for a few weeks at this price I'd imagine.

If proper race goers are tuning into this to ‘get ahead’ in the markets for Cheltenham, then excuse me, but they really are fairly dumb. Lynch & Jennings will be doing identical to what (hopefully) the majority of us do annually the day after the festival finishes - review what they’ve read and seen and start planning for the following years festival 364 days in advance.
Lynch & Jennings will be doing it.
So will a few of us on here.
Its just a very entertaining show, very watchable, miles and miles and miles ahead of any similar ‘product’ available on YouTube (and there’s some appalling ones).
Let’s just enjoy it for what it is - 40 mins every Tuesday of light entertainment.

I will repeat myself again, and that'll be it.
Everyone keeps regurgitating the same points, that I have never, ever had an issue with.- I know it's entertaining.
- I know they have parameters and could do better.
- I know they made a profit.
- I know Gavin Lynch and David Jennings (who are paid to do the job) are better tipsters than me.
My point is, and always will be.....- They should NOT move the markets like they used to
That's it. Now that 365 are holding the price, it's done. If that had been the case from the start I'd never have mentioned it. Although today if I'd seen those tips I'd have slammed Gavin Lynch but probably been attacked by his army of lovers we have on here.
I'll carry on, just to see whether I can actually beat them with those parameters... for a bit of fun.
