He did also tell people on the review show last year to do a Trixie of Shiskin for the Arkle, Bob for the Ballymore and A Plus Tard for the Ryanair.
It does make me laugh how they never talk about the elephant in the room that is cash out -
The point of this, was because I was quite vocal and annoyed about it moving the markets.
My main issue was, that it shouldn't move markets because it's a flawed format and I reckoned that even I could do what they do, despite not being as good as them or it being my day-job.
I believe this forum is miles clear of that and whilst I don't want to move markets as that'd be counter productive, they certainly shouldn't be.
It is entertaining (the show), I like them both a lot and the few episodes I saw were good fun and informative.
Personally I feel I've proven my point, as I did beat them even in the restricted format, I found it very difficult as it doesn't suit my approach at all, but it's done
Quevega set the challenge, I can't stop him doing it again.... but I hope he doesn't

I see his 7 and raise him 8, full on seconditis. It wasn't like I was even backing half the field; I'm quite a defensive punter (i.e. a bit of a fanny). It would spread the load.
You could invite FJs to take part and make a week by week list of those who sign up.
Or whichever FJ makes the picks one week could at the same time nominate someone else to have a go the following week.Comment

It was Kev vs 2
which is why he chose the same number of selections
that was the whole point
if Kev could make more profit putting selections up each week than upping the ante combined could.
this came about as Kev was vocal in his criticisms of why they were moving markets most weeks.
So even though he wasn’t criticising the program content, personalities or even the selections.
I challenged him to beat them.
which he did. Without much effort.
gavin was unfortunate to be fair.
it got tiresome (almost as tiresome as explaining the rules and idea behind it again and again)
Especially for Kev.
