Not sure how the number of selections worked out that way. But it don't matter as there is a clear victor.

There is every chance that they don't bother with this again next year as they were so shite.
Gavin was unlucky to be fair with many hitting the crossbar, and I'm pretty sure he's done alright overall.
Although like many on here the Envoi fall will not have helped him.

Anyway, this forum has a new superstar Faugheen_Machine to sit alongside Kev (more humble for sure, but equally loveable)

I propose those 2 as next years combo, and in all reality they should set up a Youtube account and start broadcasting.
Some of the clowns that have done really well for themselves on Youtube are Not a match. IMO.
But those clowns have my respect for doing it.

Lobos was considered for his excellent call on Galvin and both Kev and the machine owe him a little for their successes as him hanging about on here in the summer blurting out theories landed on Galvin which was one of the best antepost gifts for many years, and rewarded/cemented very early with Gordon so kindly stating the target and putting him away in November.

Not so much the Honeysuckle one for me though Lobos, as any fucking idiot could have called that one.

However, Lobos was ultimately discounted for fear of him blurting out something stupid live on air.

Looking back over this, it's pretty evident that Gavin Lynch has had a nightmare of a week, with David Jennings perhaps breaking even. Kev won comfortably on the bridle and could have gone around again!

I must say I do enjoy the show. I don’t really listen to their tips, but I do really enjoy their round up of the weeks racing. It usually sparks an interest in a few horses that I follow up on.
