Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Back to plan A. Just back all Mullins on the day. Simples.

Will have to carry a penny so be much worse off at the weights?

I'd be surprised in RK ran...

and all that would do is bring Gauloise closer to her, hardly a reason to ignore her? She's a bigger price now than Gauloise was pre-race?

        • Was just the reason I believe she’s been ignored. And she’s not trained by a fashionable trainer another reason she’s probably the price she is

Perfectly fair strategy, won’t be cashing out my hook up or gauloise bets. Had the 1-2 the last 2 years, and 4 of the first 5 home last year despite not having the fav either time. Epatante, posh trish & Minella melody were all well fancied for this race and didn’t handle the occasion at all. Willie can have them right for this, being trained by him worth a good few lbs to any horse here

            • Well that has brought me back down to earth after DRF.

Yeah was looking for a reason to back her, and I'm not going to

                • RK was soundly beaten, but didn't seem to be given the harshest ride in there. Limited use of the whip.

                  • I think as a backer of RK, I'll go for the plan of masterly inactivity. Beaten today by 2 lengths, giving 4lbs to the winner. RK ran in snatches a bit today, which we haven't seen before and hopefully doesn't happen nto. Just have to hope connections also feel they have a chance of turning round the form at Chelt and therefore send her across, doesn't feel unrealistic but just have see if they feel that way.

33/1 this morning which was tempting, but had breakfast and forgot about it. Had the back form with beating Global Equity very easily (just as easy as Gauloise beat her earlier in the season) and Global Equity was second in the mares hurdle yesterday.

                      • We all know what will happen from today's race. RK will pick up easy pickings back at Fairyhouse in April and Gauloise will form part of Mullins sextec in the Mares Hurdle.

I agree, with a similar bit of bakers bias. But also didn't jump brilliantly today.

I couldn't find a price for her with anybody I could use and never got round to requesting a price. Ah well. I swear I remember watching something or reading something after her last run suggesting Cheltenham wasn't the plan, but I can't find anything now. Suppose those plans might have changed after today anyway.

                            • Someone involved said that backing RK at 7s NRNB, if she does not run, will not come over, hope that happens now, which I think it will. Was a good plan.

My Cashout stayed at level stakes so I just cashed it. Can’t imagine she comes over now after what they were saying beforehand
