    • Certainly wouldn’t be writing the Mullins mare off after that. Drifted like a barge and still had a chance turning in. Only a 5 year old on her 4th ever start and most likely would prefer better ground. Is she a banker no but I’d fancy her to reverse form on good ground at Cheltenham myself

      • Still keep expecting Willie to enter some French bred to hose up from nowhere and then go on and win this

Not saying you are wrong ollie, but why do you think she will improve for better ground? Seemed to handle soft going very well in her first two races?

Wasnt much between her and the winner on a line through Global Equity, and that could be just as good as she is sadly.

          • I’m pretty sure roseys hollow would also have to carry a 5lb penalty at Cheltenham if they chose to go down the mares novice route.

              • None the wiser now. As much as I hate to say it, looks like an on the day decision now.

Such a shame that both Princess Zoe and Shewearsitwell won't be there, especially as I had found both of them......

Maybe Gypsy Island could make a miraculous appearance and I have still not given up on Finest Evermore or Rose of Arcadia, although I believe the latter has plans to run in the EBF finale in March.

                • Added a free bet on Finest Evermore @ 33/1. Her form was franked a little this weekend by Saint D'oroux who she beat 19L and is now rated 135. Bit of faith required but it's Willie. Something somewhere will pop up and I hope it's her.

                  • Maybe worth remembering that Royal Kahala had to give Gauloise 1lb and the winner 4lbs today. Don't think that's the case when they meet at the festival.

I'll keep my bets for now.

In all seriousness I don't think the result is all that much of a shock. I mean there were doubts from many beforehand, obviously couldn't have seen Roseys Hollow winning (although the money came), personally, but I'm sure some shrewdie out there backed her.

Hook Up very much back in the frame based on that for me, given her much improved performance at the weekend, and I'm still not giving up on Finest Evermore either!
Not one bit. Priced up more on connections than actual form, and I don't think she had any excuses today.

                      Yes COD, yes!

Even though RK has given Hook up a 5 length beating already?

                        • The Glancing Queen 10/1 PP NRNB.

After what’s just gone on in Ireland that just looks huge to me

                          • Looks an appalling race now

Mullins will probably win it with his 4th string at 40/1

                            • 8/1 for the winner, being a little bit ignored?

Just feel her biggest attribute in her first few starts was her jumping and a change of pace but seemed to get stuck in the mud today. Appreciate it was against worse opposition last few starts. However she may also be as good as she showed today but would give her another chance on slightly better ground to reverse the placings at Cheltenham. I don’t think she’s anything exceptional either mind
