I thought Gauloise was good and still plenty left to work on. She did land quite steeply after 2 or 3 hurdles and that is a slight worry but she's obviously talented.

I know what you mean. It wouldn’t worry me as it is, but her only 2 runs have been at thurles and really you’d want to see her go left handed before passing judgement as it could show itself up much worse. I watched a replay of Farouk D’Alenes win at down royal recently, and I didn’t notice it initially but there are hints of his wanting to go right there, then it was markedly worse on his next start going left handed.

Re Gauloise.....
Champion trainer Mullins said: "At home it looked like she had improved and she showed me that at the track.
"I think she is going to improve again and the minimum trip is no problem to her. Paul said she took off with him after the second-last and he wasn't expecting that sort of response.
"He thinks she had to show stamina to stay after opening up her lead, so all in all it's looking good for her. I'd imagine she might have one more run before Cheltenham, but she looks like she's good enough to go up in grade."
She clearly impressed him a lot.

Looks to have won quite comortably by the line.
A bit green still?
Definitely not a horse you'd class as a banker, but she had put away a decent field there fairly easily?
I like her.
She looks smart, Solerina next I would imagine which she will class with her own stable, unless he keeps her and Hook Up apart.
