Good idea TOTG, done the same.

Hook up looked like she was tapped for toe versus RK the last day. Based on her run in the Pharma it’ll take a horse of blue lord/ballyadams ability to beat her at Cheltenham in a faster run race - and none of the mares in the solerina would be up to that level. Bet365 dangling a 16/1 sized carrot which still seems fair to me.
As with some previous years it’s odds on the first 4 home would fit under a blanket come Cheltenham.

Gauloise backers can take hope that Dolcita ran a very similar race in the Solerina, beaten 3 and a bit lengths in third without troubling the winner.
To then run second at the festival.
Looks like we'll have an open renewal as per the last 2 seasons though rather than a Limini / Let's Dance / Laurina 'banker'

In all seriousness I don't think the result is all that much of a shock. I mean there were doubts from many beforehand, obviously couldn't have seen Roseys Hollow winning (although the money came), personally, but I'm sure some shrewdie out there backed her.
Hook Up very much back in the frame based on that for me, given her much improved performance at the weekend, and I'm still not giving up on Finest Evermore either!

It was a great piece of placing by WPM and co on Sunday, ride her cold to place and pick up the pieces when the horses trying to keep with AI die a death. Not far off getting that G1 place blacktype....in saying that i've seen horses being claimed to have "black type" when finishing 4th so maybe they can sell her as that already.

Suppose those plans might have changed after today anyway.

This is such an open race this year, Rosie Hollow is the right favourite and was good today. However she was getting weight from the second and third today and I'd be slightly concerned about 2 miles on quicker than soft ground. Her last 2 wins have been heavy ground and 2 mile 2.
Been trying to find some value in the market and I've already backed The Glancing Queen at 14-1 and think she's great value still at that price. The other 2 who I like at the current prices are Echoes in rain and Pink Sheets. Echoes in rain would need to settle better than last time but she still battled on well in the Moscow Flyer and 20-1 NRNB is a fair price. Pink Sheets is also a front runner and has won her last 4. She seems to really be improving and has plenty of experience this season having ran 6 times. Her win lto at Newbury was imo her best run yet she set a good pace and nothing got near her. Her jumping is also very slick and fast. She's best priced 25-1 and 20s NRNB.

I've backed Roseys Hollow because you have to really, but I already have a few onside at bigger odds with my normal book approach. Three mentioned being The Glancing Queen, Echoes In Rain, and Finest Evermore.
One I really like a big odds is Mrs Hyde. 40/1 with cashout or 33/1 nrnb. She's was talked up pre-season as pone to take a hand in the spring, and she's run some nice races including beating Verdana Blue fair and square. She won't be everyone's cup of tea because she's not a Mullins novice mare, but she's massively overpriced in my opinion.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Disappointed with the pair of them today, the winner looked good but i still dont she will win next month
I am going round in circles now and ending up back at forgotten horse Queens Brook, maybe her form behind (altho a long way) Concertista isnt so bad after all. Her form has also been franked when Decimation won who she beat in October. I just dont know any more !!

I'm sitting at the minute with hindsight thinking I was trying to be too clever here and got too deep without even realising what was happening! No strong opinion at the minute but backed 3 or 4 thinking my angle was logical. Now I havent a clue and no strong opinion!
