Despite Andy Holding putting it up it drifted! Suppose like many thought the other 2 in market were stronger! I certainly thought Castera Vetera would have been, thought she looked likely winner 80% of the way round too!

Held back on backing Delvino after trainer said.. 'she likes the extreme conditions so no matter where she goes it will need to be soft'. Not sure that she'll be risked then on potentially a lot quicker Spring ground at the Fez. Probably one best to wait until the week/day itself.

Incredible that she went off at 9/1 ! If she were trained by Mullins she'd have been odds on. Still unbeaten and there looks to be plenty more to come from her. I'll definitely be adding her.
Interesting RPRs for what they are worth, have given her 127. Not too bad, but below Hook Up and Gauloise.

....she was impressive, I wonder if the fact a number of hurdles were missing because of the low sun impacted the outcome of that race or whether she’d have won anyway.

Gauloise and Hook Up are 4yo, Sayce Gold a 5yo, and she has also won a Grade 3.
4yo age allowance is 3lbs, and winning a Grade 3 is a 7lb penalty, so Hook Up and Gauloise ought to have 10lb less weight than Sayce Gold.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 15 December 2020, 01:31 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Then they may run against each other end of Jan in the Solerina.
