Finest Evermore looks to have been found out there (from what I could see amidst the fog!). Hesitated at a few and no complaints in the end.

Few declarations / entries this week which could cause a small shakeup in this market- My Whirlwind
- Echoes in the rain
- Castra Vetera
- Delvino
- Rose of Arcadia
- Glancing Queen
- Royal Illusion
My Whirlwind, Delvino & Castra Vetera the 3 more interesting for me
Delvino particularly interesting given she has beaten Ballyadam and a few moreLast edited by Run4Home; 14 December 2020, 11:59 AM.

Nice debut win there for Echos in Rain given the heavy going and time away from track. Her hurdling was a bit erratic and jumping out to the right was a concerning but she travelled powerfully even if the opposition appeared poor. I doubt she will get cut much for that but happy to have her onboard.

This upcoming Naas mares maiden is very interesting. Not sure any of them will actually trouble the judge in this, but potentially good mares.
I'll be interested to see how Roseys Hollow runs after a very promising hurdle debut in March.
Delvino is one that'll be interesting to many with her debut bumper run, but i know having followed those colours for sometime, their mares seems to really do well in bumpers, but somewhat flatten out over hurdles. It'll be interesting to see how she goes.
Avellino her half sis, was 1.5ls behind Lucky pass and then won 2 bumpers, finished 5th in a listed even at Sandown...but took 5 attempts to win her hurdle, round Ballinrobe. 116 rated.
A very flat pedigree, i wouldn't be surprised if she takes a while to get used to hurdles.

Two points of interest.
* The Echoes of Rain performance was against the geldings - not mares, which probably shows that she is one that they think a bit of, when they're shuffling the pack to places horses into Mares Maiden races.
* Also she pulled hard, because the race was too slow.
I'm always jnterested in horses like that as either
a) they will still pull hard and blowout, when raised in class
OR
b) they need a strong run/better class race, and will settle well into those races, and show a rise in form.

I seem to remember Scooby being quite sweet on Echoes In Rain on her debut when chucked into the deep end last year.
She did that well today and like you say, stepped up in class next time out we’ll see if she settles better.
