Beat Go Conquer, 2nd behind Pilgrims Bay and PU in the GN....

40/1 is a price where you don't need a lot of convincing though and that form over the trip is good, if you also include the second behind Might Bite.

He's certainly not priced up correctly with Might Bite on that run...
Sorry Kev, I was thinking of trying at that level really, should be detrimental but given the better grade and pace he seemed to relish it. I think connections felt he was better suited to shorter, and put him in races where he couldn't lay up notably against Top Notch, 2nd, over 2m5f I think, the run in the KG may have been an anomaly but I don't take that view

DS is also owned by the crossed fingers partnership, and if that doesn't work nothing will

That is interesting, was one of my most confident bets last year, gutting that run

Am i bonkers in saying Tombstone for any race he goes for?

He is also entered up this weekend in irelandbut i wish he turn up to the festival. They have taken there time with him.

Has course form behind altior, beaten the likes of supasundae, petit mouchoir, charbel, north hill harvey, bellshill...
Shown great form behind the liks of Monalee, al boum, IO, Dounikos. All short emoigh prices for their entries...

Therefore Tombstone @50/1? Ill have a small play ew. Just hope he skips ireland this weekend and goes to the festival

You won't see it on the flogas it was too tough for him a real grade 1 race. However I believe he wants 3 miles over a fence. Not necessarily in a grade 1.
Whether he goes to chelt or not. No idea.

I think they've been written off prematurely. . Sharjah, Ar Mad, Sizing Tennessee, Scarlet Dragon, L' Ami Serge, Blow by Blow, Finians Oscar, Moon racer, Grey Waters, Sutton Place , Wicklow Brave, Western Ryder , Tombstone, and Kayf Grace. I'lll be having a play late in the day now with some e/w multis. I've already backed some at nice odds which have since shortened I must say. Good luck all
Since posting this a few of them have been backed in again and importantly are still standing!! I'm going to add Fabulous Saga and mention Ar Mad again. Its me and Sean Boyce. Ar Mad beat Bristol De Mai by 10L very easily and pissed all over him as a novice. Also as a novice he lost by 4-5L behind Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek . His final position doesn't do him justice as he roared off in front hit a few fences lost his position and ran on making up some of the lost ground after the last. If he had a clear round that day he would have won the Tingle Creek by 6 lengths as a 6yo novice chaser. Im on at 50s down to 33s. in my e/w multis. If the 3 main contenders take each other on and since Ar Mad should have learnt to settle since his novice days , he could pick up the pieces. His most recent race was a losing to Politologue and Fox Norton by about 5L I think. He will improve 14lb for that run.

This horse has never been mentioned anywhere as far as I can see. Eamon an cnoic, David Pipe. Was rumblings last year about him for Cheltenham but never quite made as a hurdler then fluffed his lines at Exeter. A huge horse who was always going to be a chaser, he doesn't do a lot when he hits the front, idles, but this has kept his mark low. 137 chase. Pipe says he's well ahead of the handicapper and has him entered up in 4 races, close, plate, ultima and Kim Muir. Being out of westerner I would have thought Pipe would avoid the day 1 going and go for the plate maybe.
