With the heavy rain coming in today and continuing through the early hours i'll be amazed if it's not soft all over the course tomorrow. And with rainy periods over the weekend it'll stay soft. Only time will tell. But i wouldn't be too displeased with soft as i'm heavily involved AP on B-Dair who'll win on the snaffle in soft ground

    • Even if it rains heavily today and tomorrow it will dry quickly, it always does. Cheltenham is open and often quite windy. Wind, temperature and the soil absorbing moisture all play their part. It will be good to soft, soft in places on day 1.

It is raining and puddles on the pavement are forming but wouldnt call it heavy. Its just consistent and the clouds are still relatively dark

          • The rain is pretty set in Chelt at the mo. Not hammering it down by any stretch.

                • Its hammering down in Cardiff, flooding everywhere. Nothing normally stops me going to my local, but this is... Got to go heavy overnight.

Not convinced what happens 75 miles away is guaranteed to be replicated at HQ.
Love the fact 112 comments on the weather and only 37 on the Grant National thread...

                    • I'm in Cheltenham and its been steady to light rain all afternoon and this evening. It's pretty wet out there but the temperatures today have reached 13 degrees.

I think tomorrow is around 15 degrees so will dry up a bit..

Hasn't wales got it's own weather system, Went over the severn bridge once years ago, its was dry this side as soon as I got over the bridge I never seen rain that heavy and it did not stop for 24hrs.
