Not got anywhere near the quality of the rides.

The "top jockey" market isn't relative to each of the other rides in terms of fitness..... if Ruby has a "bad week" it doesn't mean anyone in particular will benefit.

Agree with Charlie that his "standout" rides are Footpad and Laurina and then for me, 'favoruites chance' on Getabird and UDS. The rest are solid enough for him to have an excellent week....

I'd guess 4 winners... but I won't bne betting on any market like this.

Racing’s top jockey looks ahead in alphabetical fashion to the magical meeting that he has made his own over his glittering career…

Hollowgraphic too. Does appear that Willie has a real soft spot for him.

Although, in fairness, he might not have had many other H's to mention

Although he will have a strong book of rides I wouldn't go overboard on Walsh this year.

There are no obvious penalty kicks as in previous seasons. He might say he is fully fit but it wouldn't have been the plan to go straight to Festival which is looking increasingly likely.

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't beat two winners and if that happens it would be no bad thing to see things shared around a bit more than usual.

I really hope Ruby is riding a few this weekend to knock off a few cobwebs before cheltenham..

I seen before jockeys coming back from an injury riding a few horses and losing on them then sitting out saying he needs more time to recover.. So a few rides before the first day would be great, I would hate to lose a few bets just because he is stubborn.. but then again he is the greatest so I sure he would not do that??

If he rides at weekend. Will he bounce ? (like Lucy Gardner)

If he does then hopefully he will not be riding any of my ones at cheltenham.. I would just like to see him back in the saddle and 100% on his game before he starts to ride the really fast horses...

Not a worry at all for me this absence. I assume he's doing plenty of riding out at home over the next week, and i'd never let it affect whether i'd back one of his rides or not

Was at a preview last week and Tony Mullins said he hadn't done any riding out at Willie's, this was early last week but he had done plenty for his dad, that was last Tuesday. My main worry for Ruby is that he said previously that when Denman was beat in the Neptune he would have won if he had known the horse better. I think Ruby hasn't ridden Getabird and only rode Next Destination in the bumper last year.
