This is why the blokes and the Irish fellas get wasted on Monday and they text the partners next morning and just say they had 2 or 3 lmao.

Best to avoid hotels that charge by the hour.

I apologise if you thought my comment wasn't genuine PGC but it genuinly was. I honestly would read through all of these threads because there is a lot of very insightful and interesting debate been had.

I find in the last few weeks a lot of us feel we've already made our points and some quite useful pointers aren't brought up again.

Best of luck to you of course, I didn't understand what you meant by help on not losing all your bets meant?

Went to my first and only Festival in 2015 and it was the best 4 days of my life.

Took someone on this forums advice and walked up to the course each day, I'd highly recommend it especially if the weather is decent.

Although the horse racing is exceptional it is only part of the attraction of the festival, meeting folk from all over the whole British Isles from totally different backgrounds but having one passion in common was tremendous, the sense of camaraderie is second to none.

Just to put Ziggym's achievement in 2016 into some perspective, the winner's SP's were as follows:

                            4/1 1/4f 11/ 5/2f 4/6 8/1 12/1

                            3/1 8/1 12/1 5/1 11/1 12/1 6/1

                            4/1 14/1 evens f evens f 16/1 8/11 9/2

                            9/2 8/1 11/1 9/4f 13/8f 14/1 28/1

and Ziggy got 19/28 of them! Truly remarkable! However, not content with that, Ziggy got 17/28 last year when the SP's were even longer:

                            25/1 1/4f 9/1 5/1 7/2 16/1 8/1

                            14/1 7/2f 16/1 11/1 4/1 33/1 7/1

                            6/4f 11/1 7/4f 10/1 14/1 11/8f 40/1

                            5/2f 20/1 16/1 7/1 16/1 12/1 10/1

Ziggym..would you please post your selections each morning this year so we can all follow you...much appreciated! Thank you!

There perhaps should be a caveat about backing more than 1 in a race

28 from 28 is possible but you'd be down for the week to guarantee it haha
