I apologise if you thought my comment wasn't genuine PGC but it genuinly was. I honestly would read through all of these threads because there is a lot of very insightful and interesting debate been had.

I find in the last few weeks a lot of us feel we've already made our points and some quite useful pointers aren't brought up again.

Can't wait, banging on the gate and in the centaur by 10.40. Fingers crossed for another profitable festival. 19 winners two years ago and 17 last year. Would be happy with double figures this year. Does anyone have a number of winners they aim for?

Went to my first and only Festival in 2015 and it was the best 4 days of my life.

Took someone on this forums advice and walked up to the course each day, I'd highly recommend it especially if the weather is decent.

Although the horse racing is exceptional it is only part of the attraction of the festival, meeting folk from all over the whole British Isles from totally different backgrounds but having one passion in common was tremendous, the sense of camaraderie is second to none.
