    Like this one FM.

Just waiting on Coral to get the X-Country & Ryanair markets up so I can include COF as an 'any race' option instead.

. . He’s back in training, injury healed very well but no plans as yet. Won’t run before November
Super. Not many more exciting than him for the season

      • From Mark Howard ONE JUMP AHEAD site..................

I have been in touch with OJA regular contributor Rich Ricci, who has kindly send me a list of his new recruits from France and Ireland. Rich and his racing manager, Joe Chambers, have also provided me with their horse to follow for 2018/2019.

        Well worth a read !!!

I enjoyed One Jump Ahead, but to be balanced in the two names you mentioned - I think Joe Chambers put up Min (Ha) and Ricci Chacun Pour Soi who didn't make it to the track.

Wouldn't shock me at all if Chacun Pour Soi is the one this year, along with Annamix!

Talking of Min, surely it's time to step up in trip, Ryanair? If so, a big shout. Still think Douvan is a danger to Altior, was travelling ridiculously well before coming down, would have loved to have seen that showdown this year. Hoping next year he runs in the CC and stays on his feet.

You could argue though it is time to step Douvan up in trip as he has nothing to lose... I am convinced Douvan is a better horse than Min at any trip though, so I suppose it may all come down to what Ruby rides in the CC (If owners send Footpad) then what would be his best shot at a Ryanair? I'd say Douvan...

Of course, you could swap those 3 into any equation so it isn't worth betting on IMO - but is interesting to ponder

                      • I agree Kev. Id like to see Douvan stepped up in trip also. Would love to see them send him over for the King George.

Ruby on footpad champion chase, Min Ryanair and Douvan the gold cup. Thats what id like to see but they all could run in different races!

Yeah absolutely. Bellshill, Un De Sceaux and Yorkhill to throw in the mixer too with Al Boum Photo and Kemboy etc

I said the same immediately after the race when watching him walking in to the winners enclosure.

Nobody around me could think of a horse who relishes the hill quite like he does. As soon as Nico took him wide and he got a glance of that hill, he just went through the gears in the style of a superstar.

I really hope he stays fit as I genuinely believe he could become one of the best 2 milers ever - up there with Sprinter Sacre!

You can forget about Yorkhill. That one has gone at the game.

Ryanair has so much depth imo even at this stage.

From the Mullins yard and Ricci ownership alone, Min, Douvan, Benie Des Dieux and Bamako Moriviere are all obvious ones.

UDS ain’t finished over 2m 5f yet either imo. He ran a very strange race last year. Similar to his second in the CC behind SS a few years back. Travelled well, then eased off turning in and overtaken before running on again up the hill. Compare that to the 2017 Ryanair victory where Ruby gave him a very very aggressive ride off the front and he galloped they into submission, it’s chalk and cheese.
