Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Cashed him out of my Ballymore bets for half stake loss, wasn't a huge one for me so not a great deal of damage done. Whilst he is unexposed at that trip I just don't think he's that good after today.

    • Am I the only one who is waiting for NRNB markets from 365 before cashing out?

I've not once seen a horse go out in price a second time after the initial change/cashout offer.

If it was weeks/months away I would understand it loads more, but if they go NRNB in a couple of days (was 8th Jan last year) then it's worth waiting for just in case the cashout is for more again?

I don't see how the cashout will be any worse? Or am I missing something?

I'm waiting on some Kev. Others, where it's a minimal loss I'm 'recycling'

          • 365 have pushed Rathhill to 50/1 (should be 200/1). I'm guessing cashout will be half your stake.

How can you cash during the race? They suspend the market before the race.

                Absolutely!

Although there have been cases of cash out being available whilst a race is ongoing so depending how your horse is doing, then cashing out is a pre NRNB option.

Not on all to be fair. Especially earlier in the season.

And they Took the nicholls horse (southfield) out of the market which probably has a better chance than rathhill

Scooby must have a special gold account.

The best way to exploit cashout is the overreaction they make for open bets Quick Grabim 50/1 prime example. Hopefully they push Melon out to 20/1 when it gets turned over again. The small profit they offer isn't worth it unless your stake is huge. My best cashout is Too Darn Hot 20/1 2000 Guineas offering 5.5 x stake. It's just not worth cashing out a good bet in most cases.

                            • Cashed out for 60% loss, thankfully EDN won so was actually up overall. Cashing immediately in most cases as I need to keep recycling as Bank isn’t big enough

Is it possibly more a case of you are betting too big RC if you are needing to cash?
