Concerns Cheltenham is contributing to an increased risk of injury to their horses have resulted in leading owners Paul and Clare Rooney instructing trainers not to make entries for their string at the home of jump racing.

Paul Rooney, 71, and his wife Clare, 52, have written to their trainers informing them they do not want their horses to be considered for races at Cheltenham for the time being due to worries their runners at the course are at a heightened threat of potential harm.

Most notable horses effected in terms of the festival would look to be Willoughby Court (Ryanair), Barney Dwan (handicaps), If The Cap Fits (Stayers/CH), Kruzlinin (Foxhunters)

Anyone got any suggestions of horses to back with 365 to cash out when they go NRNB to get the best profit?

The one to get onside is EPATANTE at 33/1 for the Supreme. Currently fav for the Mares Novice but if taking the Supreme option with the allowance, will be considerably shorter.

Hard not to be impressed with his last run, top trainer & jockey combo...

Can forgive him for his nk beating in his last race, had good form in france and beat the winner twice around 7L, also Beaumec De Howelle that beat adjali by 5l has gone on to win three very good races in france this year G2 & G1 so I have not given up on him yet.

Really like this horse, hopefully will win Saturday and be the next Samcro cheltenham 2018.. his last run in naval was impressive, he had nothing to race with over the last 2 furlongs, yet still had a time of 3m 54s.. hopefully a step up to 2.4 miles will suit him.

My fav horse in training, got me out of trouble and then some in the AB 2017 and then again saved my bacon in 2018, unlikely to see him until the race and that suits me fine.

Still planning a few other bets mainly handicaps.. The storyteller, Rather be & Le Prezien on my shortlist so far..
