Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Interesting views on some fancied runners in that bunch, luckily, as per last seasons list too I only have 2 of them covered, Black Op being the main one and small amounts on Slate House. Until we see them jump a fence I will reserve full judgement.

      Thanks for sharing.

      • First post for me on the forum after being a long time guest reader.

Only placed two ante post bets so far on next years Festival and will likely start getting stuck in a bit more the other side of Christmas.

So far I’ve had 5 points on Presenting Percy in the GC.

And a 1 point quad on the following which I placed back in July:

        Annamix 16/1 supreme novices
        Laurina 5/2 Mares
        Buveur D’air 5/2 CH
        Presenting Percy 6/1 GC

              • Just a reminder that the Oddschecker Any Race market is all over the place. Backed Vision Des Flos earlier at what I thought was a stand out 14/1 with Coral only to realise this evening that he is 20s with Hills (22s boosted) although it showed as 8s earlier via oddschecker. Luckily Coral agreed to refund most of my stake. My advice is rather than use Oddschecker for this market, check first with Hills as they seem to be top price on most (if not all) in the Any Race market.

Was very short and sweet about pym and whatswrongwithyou ... will be keeping a close eye on both. Been following Pym since early last year, failed to fire in the race I actually saw but another summer could have done pym the world of good

Yeah I don’t think Pym & Danny Kirwan were seen to their best in that Aintree bumper due to the soft/heavy ground. Possibly one or two others aswell it’s usually an informative race.

the way it was worded I'd be pretty sure it's mis printed. And he thinks he wants 2 1/2. (Not convinced on needing 3m) For what its worth I think he wants 3m

I'm not big on Stowaway's but personally think they are at their best up to 2m 6f. Unsure about the Dam as OTBS was her first foal, but she has one other since, who has won first time out so a positive start to her breeding. She was by Supreme Leader, who certainly produced enough needing a trip though.

                            • I see Pym has an entry at Chepstow on Saturday for the novice hurdle race Altior kicked off his unbeaten streak over timer in!

Also Vision Des Flos hasn't been declared for the 2m novice chase at Newton Abbot tomorrow. He also has an entry for Chepstow on Saturday in a listed event over 2m 3f.

Will be keeping a close eye on both if they're declared.

It has to be a mistake. That or Hendo got in a muddle. He's certainly not a 2 miler.
