Personally hoping this one goes down the Martin Pipe route and Diese Des Bieffes (under same ownership) goes for the Coral

He's on 145 Irish. I'd be gobsmacked if he got in. Guaranteed to get atleast a pound.
BF getting free money at 14/1

Diesse des bieffes very likely martin pipe.

          I'm on NRNB

Also have DDB covered for the Martin Pipe anyway, might cover DDG in the Coral Cup now then.

              • A little concerned for Le Breuil's chances of getting into this race now. 48 ahead of him would need 22 to deflect. 138 got in last year and he's got a mark of 139. Touch wood he scrapes in anyway.

By my calculations horse number 68 (or there abouts) got a run last season, can't see why the year would be any different.

                  • From memory, the McCain horse (can't think of it's name) won this having been even further down the list when the weights were published.

I'm not concerned... I think sneak in with a few to spare...

I think he's my only realistic runner at the moment.... Ivanavic Gorbatoc NRNB and Dus Des Genie NRNB

Plenty of wiggle room...... one of the most difficult handicaps in my opinion because there are horses with massively different backgrounds... you could feasibly have...

Novice hurdlers stepping up in trip
Novice hurdlers stepping down in trip
Handicap hurdlers going up or down in trip
                          Former chases reverting to hurdles
                          Young horses on the up
                          Old horses on the down

                          What 'profile' do people like?

                          • Hopefully your right lads, just panicked a little when he was so far down the list...

He's almost blue across the board on oddschecker. Had to have a top up on bet365.

I backed Aux Ptit Soins in this but my previous success was Whats up Boys (before foot and mouth) so not sure what help I can be, but two interesting trends have developed in the race, horses who have only ever won a single handicap have dominated as have last time out winners, so young, improving, unexposed novices should be the focus...

That's my thinking too Ista, hence the reason I really like OK Corral should he go for this.
