          Hi Adam,
Im very keen on Footpad, Monalee, and Supasundae. I'll be getting stuck into the handicaps soon. Ive been backing the 3 JP horses in your race(pertempts). Not sure they'll all get in but I'd be particularly keen on The Organist. If Tizzard puts Elegant Escape in the 4 miler I'd be very happy as well
The very best with your horses.

          • Yep worries me that horse given an easy ride last time. Big fan of supasundae too

            • I've just covered off Sykes for this @ 40's with Betfair... Granted it's a risk as he might not run, but his form this term has been very strong and posted some good time figures.

I also like the fact he has some Cheltenham Experience coming 2nd in December to Arthurs Gift.

Would be keen to hear others opinions on this?

              • Eagle Lion drifting like a barge in the qualifier, but he's off 131. Surely he needs to win to get in? Otherwise he gives Phil Smith a chance to keep him out?

                  Well, there goes that idea.

                  That's the qualifiers done, correct?

                      • That's got Delta Work qualified and Hills have slightly bizarrely pushed him out to 33s. Thought he ran a pretty nice trial.

                            • Who Dares Wins
Owner Henry Ponsonby said: "He was third in the Coral Cup last year, but I think he'll go for the Pertemps.

"Alan thinks he has improved since his layoff and he's very good when fresh.

"He's been placed in the Chester Cup, the Coral Cup, won the Cesarewitch Trial and then the ground was too quick in the Cesarewitch and it was a bit far.

"He's had just one run over hurdles when he qualified for the Pertemps, but he picked up a little injury.

"It looked like he was going to win, but then a bit of birch from the hurdle went up into his foot. He had to be operated on at the course to get it out, it must have been painful.

"We gave him his holiday thinking he was OK, but then it blew up and it got a bit infected, which is why he hasn't run.

"He's fine now and Alan says his work is of the highest quality, his only worry is going three miles without a prep run.

"The form of the Coral Cup could hardly have worked out any better."
The 33/1 with WH tempt anybody for this race? I knoew people have knocked Supasundae because of the Coral Cup form... owner has a different view?

I do like horses that have acted there before and I must say I am half tempted

Not one that i've looked at. I imagine the owner is purely taking out Supasundae from the race but I guess you can take some decent bits of form out of the Coral Cup last year - Modus, Old Guard and to a lesser extent Peregrine Run and Kalondra?

On the race today - I agree about Delta Work - pushed out to 33/1 by WH seems an odd move. I was mostly taken by Sort It Out though. Rated 135 going into this race. Put in some hot races at the start of the season over fences, it looked like they may have been trying to exploit a chase mark of 118 (compared to 135 over hurdles) but he reverted back over hurdles today and came 3rd.

Came second in the County Hurdle in 2015 (off 134) behind Wicklow Brave who bolted up. He then followed up at Punchestown (off 136). Struggled the following season on his higher mark (144-142) but that mark is now down to 135, 1lb higher than his County 2nd and 1lb lower than his Punchestown Festival win. Plenty of big field handicap experience and importantly course and festival form so you know that won't faze him.

Had his first go over 3 miles today and he looked to be given a clever ride. Made up plenty of ground at the end. I can't imagine his mark will change too much after today so should come into the festival not far off the same mark as the County run
