Don't worry. It's not to do with an injury. He's won 1 race he has very good potential. But he dosent warrant to be near fav.

And talking about jockeys by far my biggest worry about him is geraghty getting too cocky and giving him too much to do
Yes, I have unhappy memories of AP managing to keep Yanworth out of the places. This one definitely has the pace but the others will be aware of that and the question is if Geraghty has him close enough will he get up the hill?

Lots of love I'm all over him But the fact is the race at the weekend was top draw,
black bow/ rhinestone deserve to be fav they've done far more than anything else. Dunvegan/ rapid escape well beaten. They were a class apart. Theyve stepped up to the plate and They're the ones to beat. Its hollowgraphics time to step up in the champion bumper. No way should he be single figures.

Closely related to Denman so should be eating that hill. Visually taking, incredible turn of foot (on both the all weather and good to soft ground), form stacks up (on a line through west to the bridge he’s about 10 lengths clear of Good Boy Bobby who is well fancied), I think he either romps it in taking fashion like fayonagh last year or bombs completely (if Gifford doesn’t have him fully tuned up and ready to go off a break)

            • I suspect the winner is unlikely to end up here but the first division of tomorrow's Kempton looks an absolute cracker. All the potential appears to have ended up in this division. All the three point winners were impressive and although Stop The World was well beaten that was behind Brewin' Up A Storm. Highlight of the day for me.

              • That bumper tomorrow at Newbury:

Brewinupastorm, Danny Kirwan, Acey Milan, Good Boy Bobby, Nestor Park, Pym. And others. Doesn't come much hotter than that, a lot of cheltenham bubbles will be burst. Would be against Good Boy Bobby out of that lot on bare form, but such an open race and should know a lot more about the cheltenham pecking order after

                  Id agree
I'd deffinately exoect the good boy Bobby bubble to burst here and it's likely by one that will side step Cheltenham. I wouldn't back him tomorrow he's one for the future but Danny kirwan is deffinately one to note

                  • 1 pt on Pym any race at 14/1 I'd marked as a loser already haha. Hendo said he'd done the exact same with Altior so of to etch next year... doubt he'd come here even with a win!

Good Boy Bobby would be joint fav with a win... still no way of knowing which side of the Irish Sea has the better crop this year...

If GBB won he'd warrant serious attention. But I'd fully expect the likes of him and nestor park to be beaten tomorrow.

Really fancy GBB tomorrow. Good luck to all if you play in this strong race. Also fancy DK to run a good race.

                          • I want to catch the shortener in the market but I just have no idea who it'll be...

I am almost certain to feel frustrated though, as I've looked at every horse in the race and checked their price... so I'll know I've missed the value - despite not knowing which one it is!

Still only got 2 pts invested in singles in this race (Hollow and Black), and feel I need to back Rhinestone too.... so I suppose I'll just have to be hoping the UK form isn't as strong as the Irish!

Looking at the current Racing post ratings though... the Irish are well ahead...

                            Blackbow 142
                            Rhinestone 140
                            blah blah
                            Hollowgraphic 132
                            ------------
                            Good Boy Bobby 128

Obviously a few of the UK ones will improve dramtically tomorrow, but they'd go some to reach 142?

It's a good race today no doubt. But it's strong on potential and ptp form, not on bumper form imo.
Full of ones for the future. I won't be backing anything out of this race for the champion bumper. But best of luck those that do.

All you've got to do is work out where portrush ted and gwalia would have been in the future champions bumper. I'd be certain that rapid escape would have either tailed off, he himself ran his race on all known form. And couldn't live with black bow/ rhinestone.

I agree, after digging a little deeper I can’t see any of these troubling the principles in the Cheltenham bumper this year. Acey Milan’s form for me stacks up best but can never be too confident when it comes to reading bumpers.

For me the bumper is all about Blackbow/Rhinestone/Hollowgraphic/Didtheyleavemeoutto. The latter would be one of my biggest winners of the week and happy with that position
