She has no money behind her in comparison to the other runners and Mr Adjudicator & Salder have had more money for them today and tonight, just one market I've been keeping an eye on as I have SI in plenty of multi's, albeit all are NRNB, but there seems to have been movement on her today/tonight. Of course it may be nothing but the decs for the Friday are tomorrow.
That is interesting. I hope you're wrong... I'd only lose 3 pts but I can't wait to see her again!

It's actually got worse in that past 45 minutes, only money left in the back side is 20's, 24's and 990's but for minimal amounts, if I didn't know any better I'd say the writing is on the wall, but we have indeed seen things like this before, especially with Mullins runners.

That said, she was actually left in the Mares' Novice Hurdle though.

      • Fingers crossed SI stays in as I have a nice double @16s with blackbow @16s

I also think her front running would have made the race really interesting

I hope she does too. As they see her as a stayer to go off in front can only benefit her too, make it a proper test.

          • Bit surprised that they have left Mitchouka in having said time and again he isn't good enough. I assume this is just a precaution against an early exit in the Fred Winter.

              • So what did people think when Hend put up WHAD to win this over AS?

This alongside the weather definitely a plus for AS

I think it won an egg & spoon race last time, won the race that was 35.40s slow, I know most horses do in heavy but he was 60L in front of the second so how slow are they..

You think she was slow on debut?

I only make comparisons with same day races as they are all running on the same track that particular day, so her winning time was 4m 12.40s, and over the same distance on the same day the beginners chase (first race of that day, so arguably on the better top layer of the ground) was 4m 25.30s, 2 races after Stormy Ireland was a 2m handicap hurdle, that was run in 4m 23.10s, a full 10.7 seconds slower than SI, and the final flat race on the card was run in 4m 23.60s, so 11.20 seconds slower than SI.

To say she was slow I think if massively underestimating her, if you look at the times they are all very similar bar Stormy Ireland's which would suggest there is a level of consistency and she was just very good.

The distance and horses she beat, for me, are absolutely irrelevant, because like you said, I don't suspect they will be much good, but she goes in the soft ground that's for sure and she wasn't stopping at the line either that day.

Seen Ruby mention her as a staying type, if that's the case she will be perfect for this, I think both the fillies take a lot of beating in this, both getting the 7lb allowance in what is likely to be soft/heavy with the rain forecast!

I did not watch the race myself, was just going by the time and what she beat..

You are most likely totally right what you have said above but I would find it hard backing a horse with only that form to go by compared to a number of the other horses at the front of the betting that has had more runs in better races..

That is a concern of mine also, I'm hoping the words spoken by Willie are not incorrect in that SI is his best juvenile. She certainly looked it and the times suggested she was above average. My argument isn't amazingly strong, but she has enough positives for me, getting 7lb in the likely conditions is a god send too, especially as it is conditions she clearly likes, same with Apples Shakira too, who I've had covered from a very early stage also.

                              • 9 runners for this very small?

                                Last 5 years between 15 & 20 runners, disappointing
