I think it will tbh as people won't go back through the form. But regardless I'm bullish he's got a good chance.

              • On the one form line I have looked at you'd think through Malaya -> Gumball -> Apples Shakira that Redicean has a little bit to find with AS.

This isn't a particularly strong way of looking at things admittedly, but it is a form line nevertheless.

Bit of an oversight to not even have a look at a horse that high up inthe market when you're so confident the French form is better?

Redicean improved LOADS on his previous two runs. I wanted him beaten today to eliminate him from the plans but well done to everybody on him. I know a couple have been keen!

                  • He was so bang average on the flat (Class 4) but over hurdles he looks the biggest danger to Apples Shakira imo

I'd like to see on something other than a flat track like Kempton too. I won't be covering him personally, but a good looking prospect for sure.

I think about Beltor and how impressed I was by him in his Adonis win, who ultimately found the differences between Kempton and Cheltenham way too much.

Redicean isn't one I'll be backing but certainly can't dismiss him

Iv already cashed out for 18pts profit. They've more than done the job.

Leaving me with free bets on. Saldier and pesk ebrel ew.
                          More than happy with that.

Redicean looked very good to me.
He'd have too much speed for Apple's shakira imo. Others are likely to aswell.

                          • Redicean looks to have bags of pace. If he handles Cheltenham I think he is very much the one to beat. Apples Shakira got outpaced herself last time and she and the others are going to have to outstay him. That's something Barry doesn't get too much practice at doing. Personally, I would have Redicean favourite and consequently I would be very surprised if the 7/1 lasts very long.

Just surprised you hadn't watched earlier in the season is all.

What did you think about Beau GOsse today, they seemed to be saying he was finding it all a bit quick?

Iv looked at rediceans form previously and the horses behind him Haven't warranted me to watch him. Until today

I think he ran well, exactly that, the traditional French pace is slower and he wouldnt be the quickest horse anyway. He kept on well not beaten far. On his 8th previously in his grade 1. Puts pesk ebrel very much in the business end.

Malaya ran a cracker for the fred winter. Not sure what mark she will get from that and Paul's "left plenty to work on", in his own words. She's classy travels well but lacks a change of gear imo. Might be a plan to make all.
