Fair enough, however someone mentioned on here the other day about SAO may head straight to the fred winter...i thought was a great shout... would not be the first time nichols pulled that one off.
At the moment i just feel Shakira wont run here and Espoir will end up being Fav.
If you think that, have you considered backing
Apple's Shakira Mares Novice / Espoir D'allen Triumph double
She has run over 2m3f & 2m4f... could only see Ryanair if she stays at that distance. Would love to see her step up in trip and against the boys. If she could get 3miles well and beat the boys id be all over her for the Gold Cup. Her jumping is impecable...
Very true... have very similar profile to VVM bought from france banged straight over fences wina every race then revert back to hurdles and win at the festival...
She just looked so impressive that id be heartbroken if sent over hurdles to the mares...

That is how I felt about VVM .... that worked out well though I suppose. Although when they switched VVM, it was because Faugheen was out and Annie got re-routed... and ther ewasn't an Apple's Jade heading the market.... so I've got more hope this time that she'll take her chance.
Actually, she came over to UK didn't she... Carlisle, OR 142. Would she get an entry in the Brown Plate perhaps?
The Highclere Thoroughbred-owned Newbury winner Style De Garde can still be backed at 25-1, but that will change if he can beat the top-rated Gumball, also a 25-1 chance and in the hands of Philip Hobbs, whose three Triumph winners include last year's standout juvenile Defi Du Seuil.
Henderson said:*"I like the way he did it at Newbury and it was quite soft ground that day. He won one in France before that but he has got to step in company."
Hobbs hopes we will see a better Gumball than the one who was beaten pointless by Apple's Shakira at Cheltenham.
"I think Gumball might be suited by the flatter track. His jumping was very good when he won at Stratford, but he wasn't so clever at either Chepstow or Cheltenham. I think he's better than he looked at Cheltenham," he said.*
