No. But I could well be wrong. Got him marked up for staying at 3 miles exclusively.
There's definite martin pipe horses for Gordon behind the winner in this race also. Either delta work or poli roi goes martin pipe I reckon.
Delta work would be a good yardstick to run as Samcro hammered him 12 lengths. Ran over xmas though so thought it might come too soon, all a guessing game. I backed Poli Roi any race a while back as thought he’d be aimed at a handicap, still think he has potential

If poli roi goes for this I think he's got the martin pipe written all over him. Was like a lamb to the slaughter last time they gave him no chance of winning. He's better than his form figures on paper for sure.
Delta works form reads well, he won't run here. But he's going to have a mark in the 130s
If either of them get an entry in an English handicap to check there mark. I'll be all over either of them for the martin pipe.

If you do fancy him, would you not be better off backing him at 8/1 at the weekend in a far less competative race than the ballymore?
I work it out as 7 runners in naas. 8 if duc des genievres runs but his price says he dosent.
Been stung before by one of jp's that was confirmed for a race before being taken out.
If I knew he was running this weekend, then I would certainly back him Scoob.

Speak Easy still holds an entry in the Tolworth but Frank Berry, racing manager for owner JP McManus, said: "He's going to Naas on Sunday. It looks a very hot race. Samcro might not be running but there are plenty of them in there."
Don't hold me to what frank berry says though. Has little regard for punters

Cheers for posting. But agree with what you say! I've been turned over first hand by him before!! wouldnt trust a word he said
Blow By Blow makes the cut for the lawlors, as does Cracking Smart and Speak Easy. Smart enough race and will be interested to see how both Cracking Smart and Next Destination shape as have them both for the Bartlett

Should be noted that i got Blow By Blow ew at 20s, and he's now 25s

I've got him any race at 14s but think his bumper form was flattering and not impressive over hurdles. The way he got himself beaten before he got his win was not ideal in my opinion for a horse that'll be wanting to win a competitive festival race

Good call .
Next destination is no certainty in that race, i can see why samcro side stepped it, very competative race. Certainly compared to what samcro has ran in to date

Same here, was one of the first i got on. He beat As you Were by a few more lengths first time out over 18f than the last time over 23f, so I think they're unsure as to the trip. Either way I think this race will tell us everything about his ability, suspect he'll come up short

Will tell us a lot. Ground shouldn't be quite as deep as earlier in the season as well hopefully

There's a few in there that would be short for the ballymore should they win.
Ie duc des genievres speak easy.
The only one I can safely rule out of the places is moyross as he has been in very weak company.
Even jetz comes home with a late rattle if they go off too quick in front.

Samcro may be missing but Next Destination certainly sprinkles some stardust on the Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle.
While Gordon Elliott was not 100 per cent happy with Samcro earlier in the week, he would have faced a formidable opponent in Willie Mullins' Next Destination in any case.
A top-grade performer in bumpers last season, finishing fourth at Cheltenham and second at Punchestown, he bolted up on his hurdling debut at Naas and followed up in the Grade Two Navan Novice Hurdle.
As low as 7-1 for the Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, for which Samcro is the 2-1 favourite, Next Destination steps up to Grade One level this weekend for a race Mullins has won five times in the last eight years.
Mullins said: " Bringing Next Destination back to Naas has been the plan for some time.
"He is a horse that has improved hugely this season and we were very impressed with him when he won his maiden hurdle at Naas in November."
Mullins also saddles Duc Des Genievres, who is making his Irish debut, having won his only race in France over hurdles.
The trainer added: " This race is just really well placed in the calendar just after Christmas and it suits horses that are probably going along the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle road at Cheltenham."
