The uncertainty regarding target had just absolutely hammered home to me the beauty of the any race market. 12s for any race will be at least 4 times his SP?
I still think he'd be suited to the ballymore because he can cruise through and then quicken. I am in no doubt he'd be the one to beat in either though.
I've played the Any Race Market more than ever this year - it just gives peace of mind (especially within the novice hurdle division!)
I'm happily sat on 5pts @ 10/1 for Samcro (I'm sure others have even better prices!)
But no need to worry about target now. Just hope he gets there safe and sound
Faugheen went off 7/4 in the Neptune, I'm thinking it'll be something similar (certainly no bigger) for Samcro, providing he gets there in one piece.
Let him step up in grade, a very nice horse but along way to go. Atleast 2 more races before the festival. Prob 3 . I'd say a simular path to Bellshill , 1 more race , then the lawyers hotel at navan after Christmas than Deloitte .

I've seen enough to know that he is a very special horse. I may biased, and talking through my pocket, but I just can't see him beat.
[QUOTE=Faugheen_Machine;44138]Is he the only horse you have backed outright for the Neptune?
I'm happy to have a match bet if they both line up in the Neptune (nrnb). An Ante Post match bet, sounds like fun to me![/QUOTE
He's not iv backed samcro
Red jack any race and a couple of others at big prices on exchanges.
I do fancy if the cap fits more than samcro at this stage though.
Ones 5s and ones 25s so not sure it's a fair trade lol

What price slate house tomorrow evening after he destroys a weak field, I'll have a guess at 14s from 33s.
He will have to be impressive though, I'd see samcro and if the cap fits, beating these by 10.
There's been more talk regarding Slate House but White Moon was very impressive on hurdles debut and he is still available at 25/1 so I think there may be some 20's straight after, at least 16/1 as it is a weak looking maiden (agree he'd want to be winning by a good distance). That said he's highly regarded and has been a horse highlighted by many and a win at Cheltenham will always go more noticed. I'm actually a little surprised he is available at 33/1 now.

Slate house obviously works well at home and won his 2nd ptp easily, but if I'm being picky, it makes me wonder what happened in his 1st point behind claimantakinforgan, whether it was inexperience as he had a fair break after,
or, over an obstacle is claimantakinforgan the better horse. Henderson clearly rates him, the 3rd Lough derg spirit is obviously a nice horse, and crievehill who finished back in 6th is a fair horse.
If only I knew if slate house was working all over the sadly ill fated flemenshill, they may never have had the chance to work together at all.
