25/1 looks a fair price that is still available.... my guess would be Townend will keep the ride, and Ruby will be on Invitation Only or Al Boum Photo... but it isn't always the perceived first string that wins
Bloody hell! Finians Oscar to be aimed at this after a breathing op....
It's the obvious choice.... now...
Doesn't stay 3m (or hasn't proven that he can) and this trip seems his best.
I have him "Any Race" from back in September, but if I had him unbacked - he would stay that way. We could well get a run for our money - but just can't see him winning.

Surprised he isn't undergoing a sex change op and running in the mares hurdle I think he has the talent to go close in this, despite how he's been messed around this season. If the breathing op goes smoothly he'll actually probably appreciate a few weeks rest after being slogged all over the place, tripwise and obstacle wise
What a long way around to get him in the race that looked most suitable all season.
I have to say I've completely given up on him winning any race at Cheltenham, but I had some speculative multiples early on and if he lines up you do never know!

Tizzard is looking like a right eejit over this horse imo
Completely. Im just pleased for the horse they eventually came to the right conclusion, however convoluted the journey was! Hard to see anything other than this being the best option for him.
I was going to lay him if he went anywhere else, but still think he could run a big one in this.
Any one have a strong opinion on where Sutton Place will end up?
Depends what he does at the weekend. He's obviously a very good horse. They're not going to turn down a gold cup in the future on gd to soft I wouldn't have thought. So whether they'd turn down the jlt/ rsa because of the ground only time will tell.
your only a novice once. And they're not deep races for a horse of his ability.

Cheers guys. I have a couple of cash out options for him in this and the RSA, but as he is likely to turn up I may just leave them both and accept one as a loser, as placed before NRNB.
