Galloping jumper says RSA to me. Happy with those comments.
"Quickened up of the bend" been kept to the intermediate trio sice his ptp . Im not sure. Being honest I think jlt but obviously could go either.
Worth noting he hasn't made the last 2 festivals. So hopefully stays sound.

Havent gleaned anything from those comments which suggest one or the other really. But would think it will all depend on the rest of the team as usual.
Mullins said: “I thought his jumping was very good, he was only idling in front, he has plenty more.
“He’s a horse that’s starting to show the promise he showed earlier in his career. It was a nice stepping stone for him.
“I haven’t thought about it [his Cheltenham target]. I imagine if he goes to Cheltenham he’ll go straight there, maybe we don’t need to go to the Dublin Festival.
“He could go for the longer trip I suppose, he stays, he jumps, he could go either way.”

Thought IO was superb bar one jump , love way he galloped them into submission. Also he kept jumping out to his left so expect even more improvement when he goes Cheltenham. I've betting slip with 35/1 for this race so hoping he comes here like yorkhill last year.

As an RSA backer I’m happy with that quote. What do you reckon Kev?!
It sounds very much like he was thinking out loud! Certainly happy for him to have mentioned the longer trip but I think it'd be crazy to get too confident. That is about as honest assessment as we could get.... to me its probably 60/40 in favour of RSA.
Looking back through his form.... he went off fav to beat Death Duty over 2m4f but now it looks like 2m4f was more DD's trip... Monalee was ahead though in that same race and that does worry me slightly.
Ruby picked IO over Al Boum Photo at FAiryhouse in April, where he "kept on one place" in last.... over 2m4f. That gives me more hope that ABP is perhaps 'speedier' although ABP wasn't stop[ping at the end of the race either!
We already went over him falling on chase debut, way too early be able to tell what was going on... but Monalee was fav and beat Any Second Now 6L (easily) over 2m4f.... in his next start, Invitation Only beat Any Second Now just over 4L - but under hands and heels.
I did fancy DD for the JLT, and feel he would have had IO held... I do like Monalee, and think they are closely matched, with a slight preference for Monalee at the moment.
I do see Monalee is 12/1 NRNB for this race actually which I might take, that is twice as big as I think he would be! When IO is 6/1 NRNB for the JLT, that is my bet for right now....

A real shame his form worked out so well.
Just shows when Willie dosent enter them in his block entries for the graded races. Be warned.

Bit of a blow that. JLT is a bit of a conundrum now, I like Al Boum Photo but not sure ends up here. I still can’t have Willoughby Court for win purposes, no idea why as I fancied him at the start of the season and the race is looking easier now than it was then

Finians Oscar should be winning this race and i reckon he would be if he hadn’t been messed around

I actually agree he'd go close. It's a silly decision when this race is so open and you've got benatar there who you gave weight to with a live solid chance.
