Out of all the prices of every horse at the festival I personally believe he is the best value.
20/1 For the jlt if your brave or now 12s any race if your inclined to play it safe.
IF he goes jlt, which is his trip imo, that 20s is a gift from the gods.
He would be very competitive in all 3 chases, and he wouldnt be 12s for the stayers.
Is there a chance he misses the festival if the ground is on the quicker side?

I personally think his whole career so far has been waiting to go over fences, I don't think he's really ground dependant, I think that was an excuse for him to miss the race after he was already declared and run in the stayers at punchestown.

      Good point though

He’s in great order. He gave himself a bad knock at Punchestown and we feared the worst at the time, but he’s back and is probably only three weeks off running. He’ll go novice chasing. He isn’t a horse that does anything fancy at home, but he showed on the track last season that he has plenty of ability. Barry Geraghty always says he has loads of pace, but I think two-and-a-half miles or further will suit him best. Soft ground will always be a help to him.

After his run on soft heavy in places,

After race at*Navan Sun, 19th Feb, 2017 (1st)**He's a nice horse and he's a big chaser in the making really. I'd say that ground just wasn't ideal for him but he showed his class,. We were riding him maybe a little negatively with the trip. Barry said he's a horse that you'd be better off grabbing a hold of and riding a race. He was a bit sloppy with his jumping because we wanted him relaxed. Chasing will be his game and whatever he does this year will be a bonus. There isn't a whole lot for him and we might look at the race in Fairyhouse for him (Grade 2 Ballybin Hurdle).**Gordon Elliott

JP usually wants festival winners rather than representatives in every race. He'll usually fire 3 good bullets at the right race rather than 1 good bullet and 2 weak bullets in the wrong races.

If one of those goes for the RSA it will be because that's the right race and best chance of victory for the horse.

More likely a plot for the Irish National - 2019 that is.

Betting in the last while has Yamworth, Finians Oscar, Death Duty and others leaning towards this race and away from the RSA, It’s gonna be some race if this happens

Jamie Codd reckons Sutton Place could be a Gold Cup horse, so MAYBE the RSA will be the race for him, if you rate Codd's assessment of course.

                        Sutton place RSA

                        Straight forward

I'm probably going to have a bet on Sutton place in the any race market ... the talk about him is getting pretty lofty and I went through his huddle form trying to pick holes a few days bask and ended up being impressed by it.

                        • Now that Death Duty seems set to target the JLT i'm sure Gordon Elliott would be keen on Sutton Place going for the RSA

                            Yanworth - J.l.t chs
Sutton place - R.s.a chs . Think i'd agree with that Kev .; Sounds like a patent waiting to happen.

                            • Could Jerrysback from the Hobbs yard be another to throw into the mix. Had a low key season over hurdles and avoided the big festivals but could be a horse of huge potential once upped in grade.

He could well end up in the rsa, but I wouldn't be surprised if he started off over 2miles, he's not slow. Unlikely but I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up in the arkle. He'd go close. I won't compare him to altior but his run style is simular, he's a little lazy, for a split second you worry, then when asked he finds plenty. Big fan of this horse and where ever he goes hope he stays sound.
