Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Haven't heard anyone mention Kalondra at all for this race. He has steadily improved since the switch to fences and Noel Fehily said 2 & a half is all he needs, although he is a former Point to Pointer. He was actually beaten a length by Champagne Classic and a length by Baden in his Point to Points. 2/3 so far this season, only beaten by Modus and looked good last time out at Cheltenham before Christmas. Also wouldnt be put off by his run in the Coral Cup last year.

Im on Willoughby like everybody else but this is my only other bet in the race so far. 20s NRNB

    • Henry de Bromhead told RTE.ie he was still "undecided" about Monalee going there or to Naas for a different race later this month.
I get the feeling Monalee may miss the festival this year but if he doesn't I'm starting to think this will be the race for him. Trainer has already come out previously with a negative view on the RSA and with such a bad fall last time out, a not ideal prep for the festival I can see them going for this race much more than the RSA now.

It's been fleetngly mentioned on here a few times, but I took in as a negative regarding the RSA when HdB said he didn't like the race near the start of the season.

I actually think 10/1 NRNB is a good price, without being a must bet

Yes, given up on that one. I know you were keen on Modus earlier in the season... any news when he’s back out/if this is still the plan? 25s

            • Seen today that Sceau Royal has not been given an entry in this race, which means it is definitely the Arkle or nothing for him now. Bet365 have gone 6/1 NRNB on Footpad for this, unsure if this is an error, as the bookmakers who are NRNB are not even half these odds?

They're perhaps incredibly confident he won't run and would rather your money in their account for 7 weeks, knowing when you get that money back, you're more likely to slap it straight back in?

If it's in their account for 7 weeks, I can't spend it

I chucked a ton on anyway, and worst case scenario I get it back.

                    • I’m down to three in this race. Al Boum Photo, Benatar and Willoughby Court, in order of biggest returns. Also got Rathvinden any race but he’ll probably go further. I think it’s odds on one of Invitation Only or Monalee come here, have both for the RSA so not sure if it’s worth taking a punt now or not. Whichever one comes here will be favourite on the day I’d bet

With NRNB why not back Invitation Only and Monalee. I am lost with this race but have decided to back Invitation Only at 10's NRNB.

Probably makes sense, 6s is all I could see Invitation Only for this though NRNB and thought that skinny

I thought willhill was insurance bet not nrnb, so if they run in another race you lose? But if they do not run at all u get your money back..

                                That was my understanding.

I didn't have to worry, as I'm not eligible for offers with them.
