This is the worst race to try and assess this year ante post by a distance. My only interests so far are Min and Great Field, but every chance neither will run. If not and it’s Altior vs Douvan vs Fox Norton then you’d have to be fairly confident that Altior and/or Douvan will put their best foot forward and finish ahead of Fox Norton. Are people suggesting Fox Norton has improved? I can’t see a race that he’s won in the last couple of years that he wasn’t fully entitled to win, and I also can’t see how he has a chance against Altior or Douvan assuming one or the other is near their best. With the market priced how it is I’m even considering going against my urges and just having a watching brief!

Fox Norton got a 172 rpr over 2miles at cheltenham this weekend, with doubts about Altior and Douvan and a pretty weak market, Im trying to find reasons not to back Fox Norton at 8/1. Surely this is too big ? Do people think there is a real possibility that he might get stepped up in trip?

You could hover over the 8s during the tingle creek?

I personally think he'd take some beating in a king george.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

I'd have a go .... if he doesn't stay then he doesn't stay, but I don't think it'd ruin his season.... I hope they go for it..... with Sizing John not running in the betfair chase, perhaps he'll stay in Ireland over Xmas now too - leaving the door open?

I know all the potts horses are paid for until retirement, but no idea how much his children would like to be involved in calling the shots.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

Fox Norton*is set for*the Betfair Tingle Creek at Sandown a fortnight on Saturday, and Tizzard is not ruling out adding*the Champion Chase runner-up to his 32Red King George team on Boxing Day.
Not learned much but it's being considered as you'd fully assumehttps://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

Cheers guys, going to chance the 8/1 Champ Chase win only, if he doesnt run then so be it. FWIW I think hes much more likely to run in this race and hopefully he it proves right. I dont think Altior will make the race, Nicky increasingly treats his horses like pets and the view im taking is that its odds on that Altior wont run, theres enough horses in the same ownership and stable to cast enough doubt on him running in the Gold Cup and id be 75% sure he will run here if fit which makes Fox Norton a bet, all things considered.

This year seems abit different as to what Paddy Power have done. 8s into 2-1 then 6/4, then pushed out to 4-1 now back into 7/4. I dont take paddys prices too seriously in regards to mullins runners like others but its interesting.
Cant see UDS beating fox norton so it would make sense to send Douvan over to collect The £84k
