Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I think that's correct, we had this discussion last year I remember

      • I'd be well pissed-off if DJ got the ride on Footpad.

        • Feel sorry for Sceau Royal, I like the horse but did not think it could win at cheltenham, I had him last year and was convinced cheltenham was not for him.. looks like 6 or 7 runners for this now, doesn't do my E/W any harm on PM but still wouldn't want a horse taken out of the race just to improve my bet..

Great post SBA. I'd like to think we are all here to watch the best horses take each other on and it's always a blow when one misses out due to injury.

Thanks Faugheen, if you have been gambling as long as me & others here you know that sometimes a non runner can help but I have also been on the other side of the stick many many times and I know its hurts a bit when one come out..

But I would hope we all have a love for the horses and having a bet on them and trying to beat the bookies is a plus for the sport.. If its just gambling you like then stick to football, F1 and so on..

                • Getting back to the Arkle though. Paddy Power and Skybet still have a market w/o Footpad which is paying 3 places.

Are any of the outsiders turning up here?

IF it was an each way bet, I'd still fancy North Hill Harvey in the 4 (only Brain Power to beat) at 7/1 - but not going to come 2nd so I won't be backing it.

None of the big outsiders interest me at all either.

5 horse race with only 3 possible winners!

I've got 2 of the 3 but I have a horrible feeling I know how this plays out

Lol that's positive thinking for you... Even if I had a 100/1 on in a two horse race I would think somehow I will lose..

                            • As regards tactics would we expect Saint Calvados to make the running; Petit Mouchoir to try and take him on but not be able to and Footpad to sit in behind and try and pick up the pieces?

I am increasingly coming round to the idea that Saint Calvados is going to make all.

That's how I see the tactics KB. I'm hopeful that PM and Footpad will be too classy for SC.
