I can not be backing any horse that goes over to Doncaster in soft condition, and puts in an unimpressive run. I wasn't keen on Sceau Royal before he ran, and I'm still not keen on his chances now.
Plus, Alan King's form at the festival is shocking! Doesn't surprise me when it appears most of his horses are campaigned hard over the winter months.... picking off price money

Crickey, Saint Calvados now best price 12/1 NRNB - well done to whoever put him up at 100/1

Seriously though, the sea of blue I can see must be Pricewise related?!

12/1 is silly

I know I wanted him to go for the JLT but seriously 10/1 Saint Calvados for this?
He has three Champion Hurdle class horses in front of him and several now at bigger prices who have achieved more, perhaps a good deal more.
So far he has dominated a couple of small fields round the same track. He has to prove he can dominate a much better field and do that at a track where he has no experience.
Even at 20/1 there wasn't much more than a chance of a place. Now he is a crazy price.

He's well held on hurdle form. And i dont exoec6t him to get anywhere near the arkle. But this isn't a hurdle race and you never know.
Footpad beat device. Saint calvados is no where near the same parish as device over hurdleshttps://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

Western Warhorse wasn't very good either?
He is going to win the Arkle by about 8L
** okay maybe not - but until he tries you can't knock him for not doing something yet?
Sceau Royal shorter in the betting has no spring form, Footpad no form on good ground, Petit Mouchoir 1 run over fences and an injury.... there is a chance that people are getting carried away by "champion hurdle horses" running in the Arkle.... let's face it, non of them we're anywhere NEAR the winner and got beaten by MTOY.... not exactly superstars over hurdles by ANY stretch.
SC is progressive at least.... ***all that said, 10/1 is too short now compared to North Hill Harvey at 16/1Last edited by Kevloaf; 31 January 2018, 08:14 PM.

Can anyone see Footpad going for the JLT, even if he wins at the weekend?
