Would be huge for my ante post book if he wins also, everything else would slot into place. I’ve no worries that he’s got the pace for the shorter trip, my only worries are his jumping. He’ll have to wind him up early enough that’s for sure. Think there’s the potential that a couple up front might go off too quick and cut each other’s throats, most like to race prominently. I’m actually of the opinion that Finian’s needs to win this fairly comfortably to feel confident about the Arkle. Footpad and Petit Mouchoir in particular I think will be tougher nuts to crack than his opposition today. I’ve got plenty on him for the JLT also so part of me would prefer to see him beaten today and staying on than making hard work of it, winning a length or two, and then being definitely aimed at what would be a tougher race for me in the ArkleOriginally posted by Scooby91 View Post finians will sit close to the pace, but how far out will he be ridden?.
