Be really interesting to see Sceau Royal and Movewiththetimes clash at Cheltenham this week.... I would have Sceau Royal as favourite but Nicholls should have MWTT well schooled and ready to roll, so depending on the prices (obviously) I will be lining up a bet on one of these

I've stuck Movewiththetimes in a cheeky multiple so expect him to fail miserably on Friday
Having already backed both for the arkle it will be interesting to see how they fare. Can see the bookies pushing whichever horse loses out to a bigger price and there could be some value in the loser. Similar to Minella Rocco being pushed out after last weekend to a tempting price.

Sceau Royal, Movewiththetimes and North Hill Harvey all confirmed for tomorrow. Even if they don't go on to be successful at the festival, this should prove a competitive race.

Superb. It'll be interesting how they price this up tomorrow
A super race tomorrow with this race in mind. I have Sceau Royal backed so i'm hoping for another win. He won so well at this meeting last year, has the best form over hurdles (not that that always counts) and has chase experience. In the past he's a horse who has either looked very good against weak opposition or when he has faced decent opponents, either travelled well only to fade rather tamely or put well in his place. Tougher tests will come but I think this race will tell us plenty if he has strengthened up and improved for fences if he can win tomorrow.
Saying that I do think it's of note that Nichols is prepared to let MWTT's make his debut in a race like this (I know he was entered up at Newton Abbot recently only to get withdrawn - whether a slight setback?). He often finds an easier race for his chase debutants so I think that could be telling of his chances and how good he feels the horse is. Add in North Hill Harvey and it's a fascinating race!
Current stance in the race:
2pts @ 16/1 Finians Oscar
2pts @ 14/1 Finians Oscar
1pt @ 13/1 Petit Mouchoir
1pt @ 10/1 Petit Mouchoir (any race)
Despite sceau royal's size, since his debut when he finished infront of adrien du pont I'd always thought he'd make a fantastic chaser, it was the best round of jumping from a juvenile I still have personally seen, he gets his good ground tomorrow he ran very well at this meeting last year there will be no excuses what so ever if he dosent win. All his best performances over hurdles are on decent ground and I'd like to think chasing is his game, his will to win in a battle however, as of now would be a question mark.
Also strange to think he's the youngest horse out of all these.

Agreed, to have any chance in the Arkle I think he has to be winning this, where as MWTT's and the others can be forgiven for not winning imo. The concern would be SR just doesn't find anything off the bridle but another year on and now 5 coming on 6 he may just start proving the perception wrong.

I personally think his best chance would be from the front, using his high cruising speed and his accurate jumping, bringing others out of there comfort zone,
I would agree with everything you just said. And see how he gets on, a decent match up for this time of year, North hill Harvey not out of it tomorrow, not his biggest fan but his novice runs in the supreme and at Aintree read well In regards to a race of this nature.

And one reason why Petit Mouchoir is the bet for me, not only a talented horse but one who is more than ready for any battle, he has no questions regarding his attitude towards the game.

Really hope he does go arkle. (I think he'd take all the beating) could be dangerous to assume he will though.

Jacques ricou made him a man I genuinely think he gave him a hell of a ride behind long dog and tombstone that day. He's jumped better ever since.
