I think he jumped really well (although that isn't something I'd be an expert on!) and apart from that, being pushed out to win Hell's Kitchen is nice, nothing special though.
He's been clipped to 16s most places but some have stood at 20... best work at the end? I think he MIGHT end up being tried over further?
Only one quote for the JLT though, and good luck if you have an account with Stan.
Liked that debut, hoping they stick to the Arkle. Henderson does love a 2mile chaser!
Shantou Rock’s form got a boost yesterday.
Benatar was ridden out to beat Space Oddity by 3 lengths and received fulsome praise on itv as a chaser to follow. This is the same Space Oddity that was beaten 16 lengths by an eased down Shantou Rock. Race distances were slightly different and it’s probably dangerous to take the form too literally, but I don’t understand why BF & PP still have SR at 40/1.
Music to Kevs ears I presume as Tizzard hinting once again that the prestige of the Arkle is a big draw to them for Finian's Oscar.
Obviously still a long way to go, but this race sounds like their initial aim!
What was the quote? Haven't seen it yet.
***just found it. I am absolutely over the moon with that. He's said exactly what I've been saying again and "whats to say he's not a two miler anyway"
In terms of him wining it, strongly run race will be what he needs and you never get a slowly run arkle

"I don't think he's a 3 miler at his age, and it's all about prestige init" then started going on about knowing which race was the prestigious one and said the Arkle!

Definitely won't be slow if Petit Mouchoir & Shantou Rock both run!
Nice picture of Colin Tizzard Kev, My computer has no sound and i can't lipread , but anyway , I have been chipping away with
F.O for a while now , In the Arkle on YOUR recommendation . L.O.L. ! and yes double figures !.
I was listening to a podcast last week (can't remember which one) and they were adamant FO wouldn't go here and totally dismissed him as an Arkle runner. Thankfully CT, more likely Alan Potts, is thinking along the same lines as us.
Wish you guys the best of luck with Thomas Hobson but i cant think a European horse to win the race who didnt have a prep in Australia, it seems to make the task so much harder and the draw is going to be tricky to overcome, id love to see him do it for you though. Best of luck.
