Deffo each way Kev, I'm still in the Our duke camp , I think it's between might bite /our duke and possibly sizing john to win
back to back gold cups !! ?????/. Faugheen/ kev . Agree re Buveur d'air. got it in loads of multiple bets but no singles ' ,
going to rectify that in the morning !.
I keep thinking the exact same thing... yet haven't taken the single. I keep putting something else in with it.
If Yorkhill / Min don't revert to hurdles (both odds against to do so?) then I can't see how he will be any bigger than 6/4 on the day. It's not been a deep division for absolutely ages and still isn't. Backing it up at Aintree was the icing on the cake for me, beat the same horse and that horse couldn't be a better gauge for that race (with 4x 2nds) - I'll start slowly chipping away. (How many pts you on so far?)
I did back Might bite for the triple crown and think he's going to be my main bet for the King George. In fairness he fairLy romped the RSA didn't he... bar the quirks!
Did my Buveur D'air single today ,got 3-1 at Betfred, and a couple of patents .
1. buveur dair - 3-1
2. altior - 6-4
3. Our duke -10-1.
also ... 1. buveur d'air 3-1
2. altior 6-4
3. Might bite 10-1.
He's on my radar for the Grand National but hadn't thought about him for the Gold Cup. You'd imagine he'll be available at bigger prices on the exchanges.
I've had a few thoughts but not really settled. I'd expect him over further although the Punchestown run wasn't as good as his others over shorter you could argue?
Starting off over 2m6f and being a PTP horse you'd think they might try further too?
Any thoughts on Finians Oscar's likely target Kev? The quotes of 20/1 for the Arkle are tempting me!
Hello lads, long time no speak.
I got my antepost book up and going this morning. Finians Oscar for the JLT. Buv for the champion hurdle. And a double on both.
Each winning bet going forward i'm dedicating a portion to Buv while hes still a price. Hope to be sitting on a nice pot.
The only realistic danger to me is a 90% Faugheen but we cant guarantee he will get there.

Hi KSS - I also agree that 4/1 is too big. I can see a scenario where he goes off odds on.
I do think I'd be with Finian's Oscar in the Arkle though... and I am sure Neon Wolf will be carrying my money next season too. Neither particularly original at this stage but they don't need to be!
Welcome back KSS - I am starting the Buveur D'air 'single' pot tonight....
