2. Samcro - Closely followed by Altior though! The fact Altior can be mentioned in the same breath as Sprinter Sacre is something we shouldn't take for granted IMO

Actually a very good point this Kev! Easy to forget just how good he is and it's easy to get drawn into the 'next horse' or the hype novices rather than take in what we already have and the horses that have already reached such a level. I love Altior - class him as the best horse in training but my answer was Samcro! So I admit I am as bad as anyone with doing this.

The buzz and hype for Samcro will be why he is the one i'm most excited to see this year though

I've been lucky this year and it looks like its going to continue with my ante post bets . Off the top off my head and without bothering to look at the book I reckon that I've only lost about 40 quid in N/Rs. ..so far. Thats only 5% of my stake. I havent done any singles this time around as the returns arent worth it. I dont back multiple selections in single races for the same reason. Anyway back to the thread and to answer.

Cracking lucky 31 that BC, let’s hope they all make it!

1. Finians Oscar 6 points any race, although glad I never backed him after his first race and if he makes the JLT will be looking to get most of it back. To be fair I really liked his potential. My biggest regret is missing the NRNB open goal of Getebird in the Supreme at 16s.

2. Has to be Samcro and he is my biggest winner of the week

3. Tues or Weds are when most of my live chances are running and I’m going both days. Going to plump for the Tuesday really excited about the Arkle in particular.

4. My multiples have been absolute rubbish, far too many with Annamix and then with ITCF. Ironically my best one still going is the first I placed last summer a trixie of BVD 4s CoC 9s OD 12s.

3. It has always been Tuesday in the past but this year it is Wednesday. Aside from Samcro, the prospect of DouvanAltior and Min lining up the Champion Chase is very exciting.

I have been reading this forum for a few years now but I am finally writing my first post. I'm a massive racing fan who lives right next to Cheltenham racecourse.and I have not missed a festival for 25 years. My best bet last year was Laibaik at 50-1 and this year I have about 20 multiple decent bets. So back to your questions:

1) Defi de Seuil (champion hurdle)
2) Samcro. This horse will win multiple gold cups in years to come.
3) Tuesday is always the best day
4) Footpad 16-1, Samcro 16-1, Apples Shakira 20-1

If it counts as a multiple then probably Altior to win 2017 Arkle and 2018 Champ Chase.

Hi Nick, from one newbie to another Welcome. Thats another cracking bet ..in a trixie I hope?

Yeah in a Trixie but also in singles. Also got Getabird at 16-1 and Hollowgraphic at 20-1 so hoping for a good Cheltenham.
If anyone wants to know anything about Cheltenham (places to go etc) if coming for the festival then just let me know as I have lived here all my life. Can't wait until March now!
