Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Mr R P Quinlan rode for the same connections of Champers On Ice last year on Vieux Lion Rouge who is now fav for the Grand National...

What stats we got on him? Managed to get the Grand National fav to not stay

    • So the race didn't exactly pan out as hoped with Edwulf at the weekend!! Has form in falling/unseating so hardly suprising. Get the impression he's a horse who'll either fall or put in a big race. Wouldn't be the most surprising if he still figured in the race with O'Connor still oboard as JP has so few options but can't be confident on the back of that. If not the NRNB will kick in.

On Quinlan - little that I know of. He did ride Alternatif for the same owner last year in the Kim Muir as well (finished 17th). Whether that points to a theme that will continue? 5 rides this season - 0 wins, 2 seconds.

      • Has Fletchers Flyer been pulled out of this now? Half a dozen bookies not quoting it for the race on oddschecker. Havent seen anything on any of the news threads/twitter etc.

                • Discussing some of his other Festival plans, the trainer continued: "A Genie In Abottle runs in the four-mile race (National Hunt Chase) and Jamie Codd has agreed to ride him.

                  • Martello Tower has to be considered if Paddy Mullins rides.

                    • JJ Codd is a huge catch (no pun intended) for Noel Meade! As we know, jockey booking is so important for this.

Welcome Hughz - good pun in fairness

Has to be on the shortlist - Meade having a good season too

                        • Cheers Mayo!

I have been a huge fan of the forum for a few years but only just getting around to registering.

He is having a good season so far like you said. Normally on the festival cold list though for some reason isn't he?

                          • I've took a punt on Premier Bond after the latest decs, will also get an entry in the Kim Muir but hopeful NH will talk the owners in to going here, has won its last two when upped in trip, just thought for something different it was worth a small wager, NH talked well of him in latest tour, not sure who would ride him though?
On another note JJ Codd said he will ride OTF in the Foxhunters but his other rides are yet to be set in stone

                            • I noticed Henderson's comments in the RP today, sounds like they are favouring this as you said Paz.

Codd, O'Connor, Walsh and Mullins seem to always be in the places at least.
