  • And this is why I comment on these things, because now you mention it the bare stats look worse than if you actually look into them yourself Cheers

      He's a year too old.
      No Listed Hurdle win.
No winner since 2002 that had fallen on their last 3 starts.

I'm hoping he can be the stat buster, as I have him in plenty of multi's @ 12/1.
      COD,
im taking might bite on for the above reasons. You also have to think that he'll be hot with the usual punters which is another plus for me.

      • i was very taken by Acapella Bourgeois performance yesterday considering that was only his 3rd chase start. ties in very well with Disko, Coney Island, etc. SH stated that the horse needs deep soft ground which is a negative. that said, if the ground turns up on the soft side i'd be all over him. Ive taken Hills (nrnb)@16s ew to go with my Disko ticket.

Underrated for sure. This is telling ...but Id be worried he actually had a hard race for all that he made it look easy.

          • I was going to post that exact same tweet when I got home mayo.

I think you're absolutely right doc ... how does he fit in with the trends above?
            Just checked, all ticks.

Absolutely have to be NRNB - 16s with WH

            • Positive quotes from Hendo regarding:

Might Bite goes into the RSA. It was horrible at Kempton but he had a nice run around Doncaster. He's been very good. Someone said to me the other day 'will you be happy with him on an undulating track as he's only ever been around flat tracks?' Well, there are plenty of horses that have gone to Cheltenham having only run on flat tracks. It's not a worry. His jumping has been good. It would be nice for Might Bite not to have to make it. He must have a powerful engine. It was going to be a staggering performance [in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase].

              • Massive move - PP just gone 3/1 for Coney Island.

They were only 4/1 since last week anyway, but is relatively short now, I assume this is now his race and they may have had word on that, it's the only explanation I have if I'm honest.

                  • Aren't they 4/1 for the JLT as well?!

Yeah true. In fact they've shortened quite a few today, not just Coney Island. Neon Wolf is 2's with them :/

                      • Couldn't believe the Neon Wolf price. Seems like utter madness to me.

Big move for Bacardys on the back of what Willie has said. Still decent value for me... think he has the best form on offer and should probably be fav. Festival form a huge plus.

                        • Did anything come out of Elliot's stable tour about ADO ? Had a look on ATR and he doesn't get a mention.

                          • I have backed Coney Island for the JLT (NRNB) so a little biased but I think RSA would be a mistake. I think he is more speed than stamina and I suspect there will be nothing for non-stayers in this year's RSA.
