    VDR

That was good. Daryl (Jacob) gave him a great ride," Henderson said. "He is in the four-miler as well as the RSA as he does stay. He jumped really well today. We did start him off over two, then went two and a half and today was over three. That was the best he has jumped and he does stay well.

"He is a classy sort of horse and apart from that mistake in the Neptune, in which he finished fourth, he would have nearly been second. If they (owners) want to go for the RSA, I would not say no. We've nothing else in that department that could go that way. He is getting it together now. That was his best run by a considerable distance."

Black Hercules: "He is the one that I am thinking most about. He is favourite for the National Hunt Chase, but he raced very keen with Ruby the last day and I wonder, if he did that again, would he get home?

"I don't think I have mentioned it to Mr Wylie yet but it has been on my mind to bring him back for the RSA Chase or even the JLT Novices' Chase. I actually think he might be better suited by coming back (in intended trip) and that one is up for discussion big time."

Anyone fancy Vyta for this as an each way bet? Been crying out for good ground, sound jumper and is the type of grinder that usually does well in this race.

Yer I do Mytent backed it early in season at 25/1 liked how he travelled all way through his prep race. My worry is he may won't further and go for 4 miler. Fingers cross he runs here.

I like VDR each way but would only go NRNB - He is also in the Ultima and looks feasibly handicapped.

More of that should win but two big stats to overcome

              Spent two seasons over hurdles.
No run in calendar year - Don Poli first in half a century to break that stat.

Cant fully explain why but not keen on Elliots horse.

Another VDR fan signing in and I'd prefer to see him in this race.

Bits of blue on vyta today. Drifting loads in 4 miler. Also anyone know when paddy power go Nrnb so I can have another dabble on it at 12's.

                    No More Heroes

I thought he was very good when he schooled with Don Cossack the other day. He jumped big over the first one or two - that's why we took him up there as he hasn't raced since Christmas - but he was going with the highest-rated Gold Cup horse and I'll think he'll have learnt more there than he probably did in his two previous runs. We're getting there with him and hopefully we'll get him there in one piece. He's favourite and I'm not sure he should be, More Of That is a stayers' winner and five from five at Cheltenham, but when there's a horse like that in the race it takes a bit of the pressure off me. The ground wouldn't be an excuse for him, I'm sure the ground at Cheltenham will be in beautiful condition as it always is. He's not the biggest horse in the world but he's big enough. Sometimes with the big horses it's hard to keep them sound, but he's just the perfect size, he's a little ball and he jumped beautifully at Leopardstown bang, bang, bang. He's a stayer but he's not slow either, jumping is his game and I think Cheltenham will suit him.

I have to say that watching NMH schooling the other day he appeared to land on all fours at a couple of fences and didn't impress me overly much, if he doesn't jump better at the fez he won't win

I thought the same but his jumping has been the strong point so far in his races so far. I like him but I'm looking to take him on at the prices.

Drumacoo confirmed out. Not really sure he was ever in. The lack of market support pretty much confirmed that. The whole Reynoldstown effort was a complete horlicks from target through to ride. If he really was RSA bound the race at Newbury the previous week would have been a much better stepping stone.

It would be great to retain the RSA, and there’s a chance I could do that with NO MORE HEROES. He’s had a terrific season, winning three starts, including 2 Grade 1’s. He’s done everything we’ve asked of him, but he has to step up again to win the RSA, as I think that MORE OF THAT is a big danger.

He'll be Ruby's ride which will probably result in Black Hercules running in the JLT, also ridden by Ruby.
