I remember looking at the 2016 Supreme odds last year the day of the Fest and never remember Min being 50/1.
Never saw min at 100-1. Know he was 50s but didnt even see that just the 25s. Maybe he asked for this and got quoted 100-1 before they put it on their site? who knows.

I'm fortunate in that I have a very good relationship with my spread bookies and they offer a fixed odds service where they match the best price of Corals, Lads and Hills, and I can get on whatever I want.
Over the years I've had just about every main bookie account and every one of them either close you down or limit your bets, if you bet more than £50 you have to use exchanges these days, bookies only want self destructing addicts pressing roulette buttons....

If he placed the bet before 2015 Supreme went off it should have read 2016 Supreme Novice Hurdle.

Possibly, but even so as soon as you say I'll have £300 e/w they will retract that offer, it's been 15+ years since bookies took that level of risk, there are a few on course bookies who will stand a decent bet at the big meetings but that's it.
Bookies bemoan the exchanges but their business model forces punters to use them...

You're not wrong there Isty, I sometimes spread a bet over several online then go into a couple of shops if I can't get to the track, if they don't feel they can make from you customer relations go out the window

I meant after the 2015 supreme but before he was priced up online. IE requesting a price, got 100-1.

You have to Mr M if you want to keep accounts.
I know people who deliberately thrown in a mug football bet that's guaranteed to lose just to prolong their account activity, others have set up accounts in wife, girlfriend, (both !) neighbours names, it's hard work, exchanges dominate and will eventually monopolise.
Just go on course, half a dozen bookies taking 2 or 3 bets each for each race, costs them money to be there and the majority are now doing it for a hobby because they know they can't turn a profit....

That is on the 100/1 bet paz. The other shows £300 e/w at 50/1 lol. Tbh, I find them both hard to believe.

I've only seen the 100/1 pic, he said he put it on when Min was a yearling?

I guess we will just have to believe it and to wish him luck. Cos tbh I also need Min to win as well.

                        • The yearling story makes no sense

MIN does not have many letters in his name and it did not take many Euros to buy him from France either as Willie Mullins suggested on Sunday that the hot favourite for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle has turned out to be one of the biggest bargains of his career.

Guy Petit initially purchased Min in November 2013 on behalf of trainer Yannick Fouin for just €6,000 and, despite two rather tame efforts at Auteuil, Mullins' French experts Pierre Boulard and Harold Kirk decided it was worth taking a chance on the Walk In The Park gelding.

"Min was not overly expensive at all," said Mullins about the Rich and Susannah Ricci-owned five-year-old who was on Sunday cut to a general 6-4 (from 7-4) after bookmakers reported sustained support for him to win the opening race at the Cheltenham Festival after Saturday's sizzling success at Punchestown.

                          Clue in the pedigree

"If you look at his form in France, he was beaten quite a distance in his two runs, so he didn't have a huge price tag. The reason we were so interested in him at the time was because he was by Walk In The Park, who was the same sire as Douvan.

"At the time we thought quite a bit of Douvan, even though it was very early in his career, so we thought it might be worth taking a chance on Min and that is what we did.

"Yannick Fouin did recommend him to us and Harold and Pierre both liked him. But he wasn't overly expensive at all. It is not always about spending the most money and Min proves that."

Mullins said that Min is unlikely to run again before the Cheltenham Festival after emerging from his impressive win in the Sky Bet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle in good shape."I would say it's likely Min will head straight there now. He was fine this morning," Mullins added.

                            Haha, agree Mayo.

That means he must have got the heads up before WM and co did?

To be fair is Twitter not attention seekers central meeting place ?
Even if it's true I will never understand why people feel the need to tell the world their business.
But good luck to anyone with some decent (genuine) vouchers
