I am not a minion just yet. Horses who pull that hard usually dont win at Cheltenham. If i had the big prices ( jealous as ****) I would deffo be laying a bit off.

Agree Mayo. He needs to settle much quicker. Ruby just could not get him settled as hard as he tried. Min just had other ideas. But the pace in the Supreme should be a strong enough that will allow him to settle quicker. Just like she. We saw Vautour and Douvan early in their careers the question will also be how much will Min find off the Bridal.
I also completely agree with others statements that the value in Min has now gone. Would have any bit of the double figure prices but just pulled the trigger too late.Comment

I've got some of the bigger prices on Min in several multiples but I think he is beatable. He jumps very nicely but he'll need to settle better than he has in his first two races to win a supreme.
I'm convinced he is a short price as the bookies are desperate to minimise the potential losses on a Mullins clean sweep on day one, rather than the liabilities they have on him alone.Comment

Yep, good point that, so many will look for Mullins yankees and accas and not so many are prepared to wait until the Arkle for their interest to begin, Min looks like being the stables main hope in the Supreme and as such will be entered on thousands of slips with Douvan, Annie Power, Faugheen etc, they don't need to offer any value because punters will enter Mins name regardless of how little value his odds represent...Originally posted by Faugheen_Machine View PostComment

I'm pretty sure Douvan was fairly keen in the supreme last year and did alright. Mins french form is irrelevant, He was bought from a trainer Harold Kirk trusts and who Rich ricci said does not go hard on his horses early on.

De Bromhead is well-placed to assess the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle as his Attribution was second to hot-favourite Min at Punchestown last Saturday, but he is hopeful Supasundae can make up into a serious contender at Cheltenham.
He said: "We know our fellow runs well on good ground as he showed when he ran well in the Champion Bumper last season.
"Min was very impressive, very good. We don't know if he goes on good ground and he was a bit keen, but he did look very good."Comment

What amazes me is that anyone can get more than a fiver on, £300 e/w would get queried and referred to every senior trader in any organisation, if you're a big lifetime loser they may let you have £50 at 50s and the rest at a shorter price but to get the lot at 50s really surprises me.Originally posted by loveracing View Post
