A question I am getting asked a lot at the moment is whether I’ll ride DON COSSACK or DON POLI in the Gold Cup and my honest answer is that I have not decided yet. It’s great to have the choice and it’s a good position to be in from my point of view. DON POLI has won both of his starts this year, including the Lexus at Leopardstown at Christmas and he’s going into Cheltenham very fresh. On the other hand, DON COSSACK has had a very good year, bar the King George at Cheltenham, where he was unlucky at the second last. It’s so hard to choose between them, so I need to take my time and make sure I make the right decision. This year’s Gold Cup is very competitive though, and I think Willie’s two - VAUTOUR and DJAKADAM - pose a big threat along with CUE CARD, so there’s lots to compete with.

Then again I was a bit puzzled as to why he is arsed with Betbright until I saw that Betty Power has a market cap of £11.29 BILLION
