Min, Douvan, VVM and something in the 3m handicap will be my Tuesday portfolio. Can't see me investing more than a £10 note on this Champion Hurdle.

This quote taken from the WH thread..."Sempre Medici probably needs to improve 10lb, he has to step up but I have nothing else to run him in unless he carries top weight in the Coral Cup or something and I don't have any interest in doing that."
Does this mean SM has to find 10lbs with AP or NC or who? If thats the case then the same must go with Hargam and Old Guard. So do we rule these 3 out of win purpose?

The more I think about Annie Power the more I am convinced she won't win. The biomechanics of a horse cannot be much different from a human. The fact is the older you get the slower your whole body will get including your brain, let alone the impact of the sport you are put through. So throw in injuries and set backs and that athlete will be no where near as good as in their prime.
Take the following atheletes for example: Usain Bolt/100m, Tiger Woods/Golf, Ronaldo(9)/Football, Rafa/Tennis. All riddled with set backs and could never get back to their best even at their young age, plus all the up and coming are getting better.
Is AP the lay of the fest?

I don't dispute the strategy fellas but would suggest you hold off until just before the race, I see a flood of Irish money coming for her especially if either Min or Douvan (or both) have gone in already.
She could easily be 6/4 at the off...,

Hi All
Long time reader, first time post!
I am glad someone else has these same feelings regarding Annie Power. I am in the layers club. I very rarely lay anything, but I really cannot see her winning, and I am still shocked that Willie has put her in this race when the Mares was there for the taking.
I was also convinced (albeit after a dream) that Vautour or Douvan would have been put in the Champion Hurdle when Faugheen was injured.
Anyways, keep up the good banter guys. I love it!
