We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Nicholls added: "Ptit Zig was unlucky to fall after getting in a bit tight to the ninth fence. It was the first mistake he has made and he will learn from it.

"He was sound when he returned to Ditcheat, but we will give him an easy week before tuning him up for the JLT Chase."

Cant be too many novices win at Cheltenham of the back of a fall. I wouldnt go as far a Hoof has on the PFN thread but with the benefit of hinsight I am sure they had waited for the Pendil. From looking an open race its starting to look like another Mullins benefit.

Have to agree with that mayo, a fall so close to the fez is bad news in my view, the horse will still remember it and the last thing you want at Cheltenham is for a horse to start stepping at his fences.

Same problem with Briar Hill in the World Hurdle.

Definitely, they'll be lucky to have him right in three weeks, I think he landed on the cheek that he smashed at Cheltenham too, not certain about that though

Did a bit more digging on last time fallers

                So far

In Arkle Only two of the last 28 winners failed to finish first or second last time out

All 4 JLT winners finished 1st or 2nd LTO

I think Moscow Flyer might have been last novice to win a chase after a fall.

Moscow Flyer seemed to break all the rules. The only one to defy the age stats in the championship races as well!

What a horse ! I saw a program where some show jumpers had been cloned. You think it would pay someone to clone Moscow Kauto etc or at least gather what they need to make it happen.

Yes they should. Loved that period of 2m chasing when Azertyuiop and Well Chief were chasing him home. He also had that habit of unseating Barry Geraghty once every 4 races for a while. He always had a massive following at Cheltenham didn't he.

I wonder if JP has an Istabraq clone tucked away somwhere

I suppose cloning would allow them to relace the bits that got cut off and breed from the line again. Would they be allowed to race.

Lester should know better and seems to have taken the JLT thread off topic.

JLT posts only here you can discuss the cloing of horses over here

A place to discuss the National Hunt Season. Share your thoughts and tips on the Grand National, King George as well as the major racing festivals like Punchestown and the Dublin Racing Festival!

                                WPM

Gitane Du Berlais: I’d say she’s probably more likely to run in the JLT.

Vautour: He came back to win the other day. I just want to get him back to where he was last December. I still feel like I have got a good bit of work to do with him but I still think it will come. I’m heading towards the JLT - if something happened to Un De Sceaux, Vautour would probably take his place in the Arkle but otherwise he’s going to run in the JLT, I imagine.

Valseur Lido: To me, he was an RSA horse, but if Don Poli comes back to run in the RSA, they might want to go for the JLT Chase. I have to look at things from an owner’s point of view. I think he will stay though. I think I ran him in the wrong race at the Festival last year – I should have run him in the Neptune. The further he goes, the better he’ll be.
