    Kilcooley out today

"If he runs well we might look at the Coral Cup (at Cheltenham).

"His run last time was a bit flat but it was his fourth run inside the space of two months.

"If he doesn't run well it will be back to the drawing board.

"Although he bolted up at Haydock, I would say his strongest piece of form was in the Gerry Feilden at Newbury when he finished six lengths behind L'Ami Serge and nine lengths ahead of Violet Dancer."

Nice £28k pot for Kilcooley there and a bit easier than winning the Coral Cup.

Hammersly Lake has had a wind operation and will go for the Coral Cup. He could run well. Lyvius is in there too. The secret to his success has been getting him there fresh. Volnay De Thaix will run in the Coral Cup but with him off 158 he is guaranteed top weight.

Rolling Star is very talented and had his first run at Ascot over two-miles-three-furlongs the other day and he will head to the Coral Cup. He was favourite for the County Hurdle last year but he wants a trip.

Volnay De Thaix going to run and has OR of 158. That's probably top weight sorted.

A 5lb penalty might not even get Call the cops into the Coral Cup ?

Nice weight if he gets in 10-3. 10-6 if the top one comes out might be more tempting than the Pertemps.

I'll bet the handicapper would like to give him more than 5lbs, he won that well didn't he

Hendersons season might be about to start.

"There's also Aux Ptits Soins in the Coral Cup.

"He was going to run in the National Spirit but that might have blown his mark.

"It suggests what regard he's held in, though."

Think 3m on good ground will be the game for Call The Cops. For this thread Activial must have a good chance of 11st 1lb with VDT running off top weight. Paul Kealey in the RP said take 12/1 will go off 5/1 and I'm inclined to agree.
