Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Rating the races through Prussian Eagle you could understand it ...

    • Yes absolutely.

What did you make of the race yesterday? I'd be surprised if we saw the Triumph Hurdle winner yesterday.

Yep. .Irish horses were also rans in Triumph for years but have done well in juvenile races at recent festivals. I think Henderson should win with one of his.

Yes both Peace and Co, and Hargam look very good don't they. I haven't really got a handle on his over runner Top Notch.

          • Bit of money going for Hargam today. Being cut to 5 and 11/2 in someplaces.

A couple of the bookies have pushed P & C out slightly too, maybe stable hedging their bets

Yes on what we have seen I'd be suprised if one of those two doesn't win it. I maybe wrong but reading between the lines I don't think NH thinks there is as much between them as the betting suggests.

                • I can see Hargam challenging for favourtism come the day with the Mccoy factor coming into play, cant see it being out the places and with a bit of luck will win.

Don't take this the wrong way Iain but I hope he doesn't win coz I'm loaded up on P & C at decent prices, having said that I've also got a couple of multi bets involving Hargam at 12/1, but by then the others will probably have gone tits-up so I'll be shouting for
P & C again. You never know though with the record the Hendo yard have of blowing up their chances it may be that neither make it to the fez.

Cudnt agree more re hendo yard, ive no confidence in that yard with all the recent setbacks to their horses, lets hope they both get there and see what happens.

Petit Parisienne improved a good deal on her first run to beat Kalkir in the juvenile hurdle. Don’t forget the winner of the Triumph Hurdle has come from (but not necessarily won) this race for the past three seasons while 2011 winner Unaccompanied went on to be second to Zarkandar in 2012. It’s form to follow.

                        • I mentioned the Brian Ellison horse Seamour in thids thread earlier and backed him @50's with PP. They have just cut him to 25's, but still available at 50's with BV and SJ. Hope he runs.

In the same boat, but the other way around... I've got Hargam at 20s and 14s.

Managed to get P&C in a double with Un De Sceaux right after P&C's last win, but just before Boylesports cut him.

Hopefully one of us gets paid anyway, so gl.

Yes I have to say this forum is one of the nicer ones. Tbh its my first and don't intend to join any others. I have noticed a lot of conflict between members on others so I stayed away.

                              Anyway, happy posting.

I'm a very, very recreational bettor (sp), and only bet in pretty moderate stakes, but over the last few years I've really gotten into the sport, and love the jumps festivals.

I looked at the Betfair forum, and whilst there are some interesting posters, it just seems to be people abusing each other on the most part.

I'm rambling now, so thanks, and good luck to yourself, too
